"Pros: Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Es gab alles, was man bei einem Urlaub mit Kleinkind braucht (Hochstuhl, Kinderbett). Die Loggia war auch ideal. Im Garten Bälle, Schaukeln und eine Nestschaukel. Für größere Kinder Fußballtore und eine Rutsche. Man kann wunderbare Spaziergänge direkt vom Haus aus machen. Ganz in der Nähe ist die Obernsees-Therme, die auch einen tollen Kinderbereich hat."

"Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und die Kommunikation war top. Vielen Dank an die Koordinatorin. Wohnung sehr sauber. Allerdings wirkt die FeWo kühl, PVC Boden, sehr dünne Decken. Einrichtung/Schränke recht klapprig. Klein. Küche gut eingerichtet. Wir haben allerdings 233 Euro pro Nacht bezahlt. Da stimmte Preis/Leistung leider nicht. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen."

"Pros: Die Betten sehr groß und bequem wie auch das Schlafzimmer im allgemeinen sehr groß war. Die Küche absolut neuwertig alles da was man so braucht. Ein kleiner Vorrat Salz und Pfeffer wäre schön gewesen. Hatten wir aber selbstverständlich dabei. Cons: Leider musste man um vom Schlafzimmer in die Küche oder ins Bad/Toilette zu kommen immer über den Flur den auch andere Gäste benutzten. War aber dennoch kein Problem"

Check-in was painful simply because there had been a technological issue which meant that Expedia were not passing on my messages to the host; this meant that I thought the host was very rude and I was getting panicky before the check-in, and probably the host was thinking I was unresponsive. "It's a lovely clean and bright studio in the heart of Bayreuth, a 15 minute walk from the train station and less than a minute from the colourful and lively Maximilianstraße. If you're prepared to self-cater (and the local supermarkets are excellent), then it's a bargain. What stops it from my giving 5 stars? Not much. The apartment can get very hot, although a fan is provided. A separate receptacle for recycling would be welcome, as would a dustpan and brush for daily cleaning and instructions...
