"This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return."

"Martinborough is a great place for wine lovers! The hotel has a good location amongst vineyards. You can ride a bike to most of the wineries. Rooms are big, very comfortable, very nicely furnished and have a great hot tub! Also the kitchen is very well equipped and there is complimentary expresso coffee in the room. Breakfast was excellent, with many options of fresh fruit, eggs, toasts etc. Although the rooms were very clean, they maybe should pay a little more attention to the outside...

"We had a wonderful stay at Moeraki Station. It was such a beautiful experience for us. Jane, the hostess, at all times was very quick with communicating with us and was very proactive and thoughtful throughout our stay. The house is warm and inviting. We came on a cold, windy evening and there was plenty of wood and matchsticks for our fireplace in the living room. Our kids loved watching the fire and it nicely heated the whole house.
