Our Hawaiian-style townhouse is an architectural award winner. This end unit has windows on four sides overlooking the 9th fairway of the Beach Nine, lawns and tropical landscaping. It boasts an airy 17-ft living room ceiling and rare privacy with no neighbors above or below. Original artwork, orchids, granite, marble and quality, child-friendly furniture create a delightful island environment. Relax with ceiling fans and ocean breezes, or indulge in AC on warmer days.

Privacy is paramount with a bedroom and bath on each level. The master suite features expansive fairway views, a California king bed with a pillow-top mattress, and an upscale, remodeled master bath with marble counters, twin sinks, a soaking tub, and a shower.

A charming second bedroom on the main floor has a California king bed or extra-long twins and a bath with shower over tub. Our state-of-the-art-sleeper sofa has a comfy memory-foam queen-width mattress. An additional toddler may be accommodated with our playpen bed. Ask about our other baby equipment.

Amazing

This place is absolutely amazing- it’s private, supa clean and comfortable. Easy walk to the pools. Watched folks golf across the green belt in the morning. A/C works great. The dishwasher stopped working, and it was repaired in a timely manner. Owners are very responsive and helpful. We will plan to stay here again!

Great visit for our Spring Break!

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was great and we loved the layout with having a master upstairs with a bathroom and the teenagers downstairs. We appreciated our host and how easy they were to communicate. We also loved all the amenities that came with our stay. We want to come back to the big island and book our stay here!

Great Property, As Described, Great Communication & Friendly Host

This property worked great for our family of four. Communication with the host was great. Kat is very responsive to any questions and had many helpful tips about things to do in the area. Loved the close proximity to Queens & Kings market. Many fun and beautiful beaches in the area and an easy drive to Kona. Beautiful golf course. Quiet neighborhood. Loved the option of using boogie boards, beach umbrella, snorkel equipment and tennis rackets, although we did not use them. We did use the cooler, which was very handy. Felt safe in a community with gated entry & exit. Unit is a short walk to the pool & clubhouse. Grills are right across the street and convenient. The A/C only goes to 72 degrees. I was worried about this but the temperature was very comfortable and we stayed cool while we were at the condo. We had a large SUV so we did not park it in the garage, but the units assigned parking space is steps from the unit and we probably would have used the outdoor space even if our vehicle fit in the garage. We entered and exited through the garage so we didn’t have to wear our dirty shoes in the unit. The unit has two blow dryers, condiments, coffee grounds, spices, trash bags, and all sorts of pans, utensils, and kitchen supplies. Thank you!

Great location and property, we enjoyed our stay very much, fresh fruit upon arrival was a nice touch, hosts were very responsive to our questions, highly recommend. The way the beds are listed caused confusion as I was filtering for three bedroom properties but this one only has two.

Beautiful and family friendly Waikoloa Vacation

We had the best time here in beautiful Waikoloa. The Hale Pele was as exactly as described in the listing and photos. Kat was wonderful to work with and quick to respond to our questions. We are a family of 6, ages 8-17 and our kids loved it here. The Townhome had everything we needed, spices, dishes, pans and Kona coffee provided, thank you! The kids loved all the close by shopping at Kings and Queens marketplace. On our beach days which was pretty much daily the home provided everything we needed; towels, bags, cooler (although we brought ours,) 4 boogie boards, snorkel gear, 4 chairs and tons of umbrellas to keep us shaded. We loved going to Hapuna and Kua Bay for our beach/boogie board days and A bay for Sunsets. You can see turtles on the left side of A Bay just past Lava Lava Beach club. Drinks at Lava Lava are amazing and their is live music there too . One day we explored the Island from Waikoloa to Kona, to Punalu'u bakery, Black Sands, Volcano National park and beautiful Hilo and Rainbow Falls. This Island truly is magically and there is so much more to see. This home and location is perfect for a couple or family. We would stay here again.

Waikoloa Homebase

We had a wonderful 10 day stay at Hale Pele. Clean and although connect condo/townhome, very quiet and private. Had everything we needed in the home. Very close to shopping at the King's and Queen's marketplace and just 30 minutes out of Kona. Wonderful beaches nearby on the South Kohala Coast and 20 minutes away from Waimea. Owners were quick and responsive to our questions and needs. We were out exploring the rest of the island and did not take advantage of Hilton's resort options.

This property was amazing. The condo was clean and very organized. It was stocked and we enjoyed every moment. Amazing!

This house had the perfect location, not far from the airport and right next to the Queens Marketplace, Kings Shops, and a beautiful golf course. The community pools were a very short walk from the house, as was the workout facility. The house itself had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. The outdoor patio was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying a cocktail in the evening. We fell in love with this island and when we come back we will definitely stay here again.

First time on the Big Island

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kat and Derry's villa at Waikoloa Colony Villas. The villa was exactly what we were expecting from the description. The villa was bright, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay and more. There are 2 pools and a hot tub, which we took advantage of every evening. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the morning, beautiful view, watching the sun come up having a cup of coffee. The location is excellent, lot's of fun places to check out nearby, and a good starting place for exploring the island. Best fish taco's were at Umekes Fish Market in Kona and a great lunch at Hawaiian Style Cafe in Hilo. Kat and Derry were quick to respond to our questions. Would definintly stay there again when we return to Hawaii. Very deserving of a 5 star rating.

Wonderfully located with incredible attention to detail, this property was not just spotless and well equipped, but the hosts are available and responsive to any request, providing tourist guidance and a well organized Island binder to ensure you are aware of all the amenities in the area and beyond. The golfing was spectacular... the pools wonderful and the unit itself always a treat to return to. Would definately come back... (Thank you Kat)

Amazing Property and Hosts

Our family had such a great stay in the unit. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and were great hosts. Their unit provided a great place to relax and unwind after spending the day exploring the Big Island. We greatly appreciated the use of beach gear and a cooler when we went out and spent time at the beach. Unit was exactly as described and as shown in the photos. We can’t thank our hosts enough!

Wonderful Stay at Colony Villas

We had a great time at #601 Colony Villas. The unit was perfect for our family. It felt like we were home the whole time we stayed here. Kat and Derry, our host was very accommodating and very prompt with our inquiries. Definitely A+ property! Thank you guys for having our family stay as guests in your lovely townhome!
