"Absolute GEM! Perfect stay close to Astoria. The hosts truly make this place feel like you're visiting family. I had a warm welcome& felt like a valued guest throughout my entire stay. The place is clean, updated and inviting, but still has that old charm to it as well. I especially appreciated they accommodated my dairy free needs. I slept great & I truly hope to be back!"

"Kitchen was well stocked and we were able to make alot of meals. Hotel is quiet and the beds and pillows are comfortable. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and even loaned us a barbeque one evening! Building is tired but rooms are well maintained - highly recommend it for a modestly priced motel in Ilwaco. "

"Clean and recent facelift. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Beds and bedding vey nice. Our room was on backside of building. Virtually no traffic noise. Property nicely located near middle of the main drag. Just across the street from the Cottage Bakery, a must to visit, and next door to the "famous" Marsh free Museum and gift shop. A Pacific Nortthwest landmark for many decades. "

"Great room! We had the 2 room suite. 2 adults, 3 teen boys, 1 mid sized dog, plenty of space! The room was very clean and well laid out. There was also this cute basket with things to use for your dog during your stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, we will be staying again! I would highly recommend this property. The kitchen is perfect to cook in. Full size fridge, full knife set, 2 skillets, 3 different sized pots. 4 of each cup, plate and bowl, lots of coffee for the kureg. Parking was...

"The staff was amazing! The hotel is cute, clean, has an awesome outside area for dogs and people with games and seating. The continental breakfast was basic but fresh and the 24 hour coffee bar was perfect. We will be back!"

"Enjoyed the in room fireplace, bathtub and bathrobes. Clean and with good amenities- fridge, microwave, electric kettle, drink wear, utensils and plates. Nice amenities like barrel sauna, complimentary bikes and access to sister property pool/sauna. Walkable distance to shops and beach. Current coffee shop/bakery part of hotel and had good selection of food/drinks"

"The location is right on the beach. My husband had an issue with the bed being way too soft so we only stayed one night even though we reserved for two nights. The hotel was wonderful in refunding our second night's stay. Only one of the saunas was operating."

My room had a whirlpool tub which, unfortunately I could not get to bubble. But it was a nice soak. High quality Linens and comfortable extra seating besides the bed."

"The Bowline was genuinely beautiful. The room was great, and the balcony view of the river was so peaceful. The in-room bathtub was perfect for relaxing, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The fireplace is controlled by the thermostat, which made it really easy to turn on and made the room feel extra cozy. My only slight confusion was the “resort fee.” It’s only $15, but this definitely isn’t a traditional resort with a pool, gym, spa, etc. That said, there is a barrel sauna...
