Beach lovers in search of a peaceful day will love the golden sands at Mawgan Porth (1.5 miles), while surfers will love the vibrant surf culture at Newquay (7 miles). Watergate Bay is only 3.5 miles away, a firm favourite for families and offering a range of watersports to try. A little further afield is Harlyn Bay (6 miles), a spacious beach with plenty of rock pools to explore. Alternatively, spend a fascinating afternoon viewing the rays and sharks at the Blue Reef Aquarium (9 miles). In the evening, come home to your retreat to take a dip in the outdoor hot tub as the sun dips over the horizon.
From the parking area (there’s room for two vehicles), make your way to this exquisite upside-down-designed abode that makes the very best of the views on offer. Take the feature balustrade up to the first floor and you’ll find a sleek and spacious open-plan living/kitchen/dining area. Slip onto the sofa and make yourself at home while you bask in the beautiful sea views through the floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors. When it’s time to eat, head to the smart kitchen area to cook, and then share an elegant meal with your loved ones in the chic dining area. After dinner, pour yourself a glass of wine and head back to the sumptuous living area to catch up on your favourite TV shows. When it’s time for bed, head down to the ground floor and you’ll find three beautifully styled bedrooms. The master bedroom offers a king-size bed with sea views, a stylish en-suite shower room with a double walk-in rainfall shower – as well as a patio door leading to the front of the property. The second bedroom offers a king-size zip-and-link bed, while the third offers a zip-and-link king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. Completing the layout is a stylish family bathroom with a bath with a shower over.
Soak up spectacular sunsets on the serene sun terrace, which is accessed from the living area. In the evening, take a well-earned dip in the private hot tub.
