"gorgeous place up in the woods. you wont see a neighbor or traffic. nice little brook out back with an excellent sound. Front porch rockin' chairs were a favorite. Franklin WV is 4 miles away with a few restaurants and groceries if you care. Kitchen was great and had all the necessary things. turn off all the lights and step outside at night and it is pitch black except for the stars. WIFI was very handy and TV had Samsung streaming apps."

"The houseboat was exactly as described and met as well as exceeding my expectations. Very peaceful, overlooking the river. The bed was comfortable and I love every minute of our stay, just wish it had been longer. We met Capt. Ron on our last night. He is a very nice man and loved talking with him.
