"Read the description for the property before your stay. This is the perfect rustic mountain farmhouse! Very clean inside. As it states it does have well water which can have a smell to it but did not affect our stay. We enjoyed watching several deer in the AM and PM from the porches/windows. They come up very close to the property line. We also enjoyed a groundhog that liked to visit in the field. Hummingbirds were seen multiple times on the back porch as well. "Sarah is a lovely host. We had a hiccup on the day of our arrival (before our arrival) with a potential issue that would have compromised our stay. Sarah contacted us, was up front with the potential issue, had already contacted a contractor, and had already looked to see if alternative accommodation was available to us. "Out of 9 years of spending Christmas at various VRBO properties, this one rates among our top two. Spacious and well appointed. No stairs or steps in the property was excellent for our orthopedic challenged family members. The kitchen had just about everything you could need and then some. They very nicely set us for the holidays. Very comfortable beds. Much of their setup anticpates most people's requirements. "
