"The view was Great and quiet but attention to details was lacking as regards cleaning like inside water closet and changing of bed cover. No much variety for breakfast, I stayed nine nights and I kept on seeing the same items."

"O hotel tem algumas centenas de anos, então, não tem elevador, se você ficar no segundo andar e tiver malas terá de esforçar um pouco para carregá-las. Fiquei no quarto single, muito pequeno, com 2 malas fica difícil de se movimentar dentro do quarto. Não há ar-condicionado nos quartos apenas aquecimento. Café da Manhã é bom estilo Inglês com ovos, bacon, feijão, tomates, linguica, cogumelos.... café, chá e sucos.... pães manteiga e geleia. "

"We stayed for New Year’s Eve and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. We stayed with our new born and we were greeted with a lovely baby towel, wash and cot upon our arrival to the room. Our stay was peaceful and just how we wanted to see in our new year. Staff allowed us to order a local takeaway and eat in our room & provided cutlery when the food arrived. Breakfast was amazing and included various options. "

"Lovely accommodation above a local inn with very nice restaurant. Room was beautifully presented with both bath and shower room and bed was very comfortable. Food is served in a great restaurant, being part of the pub and clearly a favourite with locals. The menu was excellent with fish and meat courses and breakfast was equally as good. Very friendly staff, good food and wonderful room. The perfect combination! Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. "

"We were greeted at the door, such a lovely welcome, shown around and to our room. We had some lovely food in the beautiful sitting room with an open fire. The room was gorgeous with a bath and seperate shower. Topped off in the wonderful breakfast room. All the staff were lovely and so helpful, we couldn't fault it......thank you xxx"

"Didn’t have breakfast, but if the standard of food is everything like the evening meal we had it would be excellent.. it was really cold on the night we stayed but the entire building was cozy. We could adjust our room temperature which was ideal. Could not fault anything"

"A quick overnight, the roof was clean, lovely super king bed and hot shower. It was perfect for a £10 taxi to the airport. No complaints what so ever. "
