"The property was clean, looked nice, and staff was great. They have tried doing updates to the rooms, but the place is in need of some major renovations. Bathroom drywall is coming apart, bathroom tile is in rough shape, etc...Just a lot of little things like that. We didn't use the indoor pool or hot tub. They both look dingy looking through the door. The outside pool and hot tub were both great! Pool furniture was nice also. IMHO, it's a little pricey for the condition of the property. But,...

"Had higher expectations, was looking for a resort as it was disckribed. Apppiers this is just a hotel with a sauna. Not even outdoor pool. Overall it was clean and Im happy I booked a lake wiew room with a balcony."

"Is is improving. I am staying in a nicer grade of room. The location is better than an other hotel I tried on the far side of the lake. Heavy trash around the hotel was cleaned up. Internet slightly improved. They do need to use diffrent channels on the WI fi broadcasts. Right now they are all in a center channel and are competing against each other. I would stay there again."

"Beautiful property. Great view from the room. Really nice deck. The heat/cool system goes on and off all night and is kind of loud. Otherwise a perfect place!"

"First of all, I didn't pay for the Hot tub, but according to the picture you (or who ever) gave me, I paid for jacuzzi... For that price, I should get it, but no 👎 ... Condition of the facilities = himid and stale smell in the room, on the towels...etc, etc, ... Never again "

"I have stayed here two times. It is a sprawling place with a great pools and outdoor areas. This visit although the rooms have been renovated, the mattress seemed old and soft in places. Also the walls are paper thin and I was kept awake by my neighbors who were just talking. I’ll probably stay here again as I love the location and outdoor areas but bring earplugs."

"Room was ok ,but the carpet was really old and stained had to purchase slippers @walmart nearby because I didn't want to walk on it! The balcony was full of cobwebs and leaves. Fireplace didn't work,hot tub was stained yellow.whole room was dusty and outdated but the bed was nice. Staff was not on premise. But one worker that was there watching as construction people were working he was weird very nosy questioning us! Didn't appreciate that! So overall I would never book at the sandhill on the...
