Asara Wine Estate & Hotel

"Overall, I had a very good stay at this hotel. The facilities were excellent, the property was beautiful and well maintained, and the breakfast was outstanding. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. Every team member I interacted with was extremely polite, professional, and clearly very well trained. Their service contributed greatly to a pleasant experience. That said, I found the hotel somewhat inflexible when it came to small requests that can make a significant difference in a guest's overall experience. I requested an early check-in by a few hours, which was not possible, and while I understood that availability may be limited, I was particularly disappointed when a request for a late check-out of just one hour was also denied. I was told that a large group would be arriving that day. However, I ended up waiting in the lobby for an hour for my transfer and did not observe any large group arriving during that time, which made the decision difficult to understand. I was also disappointed by the wine tasting experience. Among all the wineries I visited during my trip, Asara was the only one that did not allow sharing a tasting between guests. This policy felt unnecessarily restrictive and reduced what could otherwise have been a more enjoyable and welcoming experience. With a bit more flexibility regarding guest requests and experiences, the hotel could truly excel."

"Babylonstoren é incrível e vale esticar a visita à Cape Town. Minha avaliação só não é máxima pelas limitações de alimentação: os restaurantes disponíveis são bem legais, mas com horários bem restritos especialmente para café da manhã e jantar, e não tem uma opção a la carte para o jantar, apenas menus completos, que em em função do horário, acabam sendo muita comida."
