Old style holiday house

The house is old but adequately equipped for a family holiday. It’s the location that makes it worth staying. Accessibility to the beach and shops makes for an easy holiday.

Great location for beach access and walking the track to Huskisson. Older style dual occupancy property that is dated and felt uncomfortable due to the level of cleanliness.

Overpriced and in need of a little love

While the property was in a great location, we had friends staying in other properties on the same street and relative to their rental, ours: a) cost more and b) had less facilities (eg no dishwasher) and c) had older decor and less kitchen facilities. It was also not clear to us that the property consisted of two separate units - we thought it was the one place. Both upstairs and downstairs could benefit from an airing, a clean, and it was a shame that the windows don't really open very far, as it was hot and hard to secure the sea breeze.

A backpackers would have been better

The house was old and smelly. Furniture was extremely outdated. I didnt feel relaxed or comfortable staying here.

Great location

Great location within steps to the beach south of the more crowded end of Huskisson and Mooney Mooney creek. Very peaceful. Right on the cycle and walking path. House is set up like 2 homes- upstairs has 2 bedrooms, is roomy with a sunroom and large kitchen and living area. Downstairs is a unit- has 2 bedrooms, small kitchenette and bathroom. There is no internal access from the top floor to the unit below. The accommodation is what you would expect from an older beach house comfortable but not luxurious. Kitchen is fully functional but no dishwasher. There is no airconditioning either or ceiling fans. Even though there was always a nice sea breeze upstairs it did get steamy at night but nothing that made it too unpleasant. The BBQ location in the front yard chained to the fence was impractical with no lighting or shelter meaning if it rained you were out of luck. The picnic table at the back of the house was also old but adequate. The house was also nicely clean. The location made the stay just perfect and why we booked the accommodation. The home is older but functional and obviously it’s location is what commanded the nightly rate. If your looking for a more budget friendly holiday at a great location this is definitely the pick of the bunch. If you want luxurious and all the creature comforts then your best to look elsewhere however you should note that that will cost you at least 4 times more. Overall we would definitely rebook this accommodation as it was truely like an old fashioned beach holiday very relaxing and no frills.

Perfect for 2 families with young kids

Location was perfect with the beautiful Collingwood beach just few steps away. It is like two separate apartments upstairs and downstairs. Property is a bit dated but clean and tidy enough. Upstairs is more spacious and the kitchen is updated. Beds are comfortable but linen is not provided. There is a laundry with a top loader washer which either didnt work properly or we didnt know exactly how to operate it. Walking distances to shops (coles) and cafe with awesome coffee.

Great Location, Old school house

The location is outstanding. The house for accommodation is old school and outdated. You pay a premium for the location. I was under the impression it was a four bedroom place . It is however two seperate flat style accommodation My teenagers split between upstairs and downstairs two separate doors Two separate kitchens
