"Had a wonderful three day stay in this rustic mountaintop cabin. Kitchen was decently stocked, both bathrooms worked well, and beds were comfortable. Owner was very responsive to the one question we had. Would definitely book again."

"The tranquility and peacefulness was just what we were looking for. We have already inquired about the other cabins and dates available. We will definitely book again! We hated to leave! 10 out of 10 stars!"

"Such a beautiful spot and the cabin is exactly what you’d expect! We started every day with coffee on the porch watching the river and the mountains. Hiked all day and then ended our day grilling and watching the sun set over the mountains, again on the porch. Beds were comfortable, shower felt great! We loved it and our granddaughter is already planning on us returning to this special place. "

"My partner and I had a great stay here. The place was exactly as described and very clean. We loved relaxing outside and taking in the beautiful scenery. The location was directly between the towns of Luray and Fort Royal so there was always a good spot to go for a bite to eat. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area."

"Me my wife and my brother was so stressed from working we had to get away. Ive been looking everywhere to find a place that was right for us then we found the cabin with a private lake. The whole weekend we enjoyed being away from people technology and enjoyed being with each other. "

"This was a perfect house for a group getaway! The property is immaculate with beautiful views. We had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The location is so convenient to downtown and great wineries. Would definitely stay here again"

"Lovely relaxing week. We were able to host close friends and family all week as well as to have a beautiful outdoor groom's dinner. The caretakers were so friendly and helpful leading up to our stay and throughout our time there!!"

"Immediately adjacent to multiple trailheads; this quaint property is the best. The property manager was great to communicate with - tips ahead of time, all of the info we needed to have an easy arrival and check-in, and the property had lots of little touches (local hiking maps and info; restaurant recommendations, and appropriate kitchen/cooking items) to make our stay great. Would absolutely stay here again. "

"We really enjoyed staying in this cozy house in the woods. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking or kayaking the Shenandoah. We had a campfire and used the hottub daily. Plenty of room for each of us to have our own space, but cozy enough for gamenights, too! "

"My husband and I stayed in this home for our annual anniversary trip. We love hiking and brought our dog with us for some active relaxation. This home was one of the best we have stayed in. It had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. Conveniently located about 15 minutes from Front Royal where there was plenty to do; yet also steps away from a trail in the neighborhood, which intersects with the AT. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. "

"The house was perfect for what we needed. It is right on the river, lots of nature and animals. The only thing I would say that wasn't that great, the long gravel road you have to drive on to get to the house. It wasn't in the best condition. It was a cute house though. "

"Super cute place and great fishing. Lots of fun fishing with Ultra light gear. Smallmouth, Bluegill and even some Red Eye Bass which I did not think came this far north. "

"Awesome home in great condition located very close to the Thornton Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park. The house has lots of amenities, a beautiful master bedroom/bathroom and a great kitchen. It was all we needed and then some. Host was great to deal with. Perfect for couples weekend or a family get away. Highly recommend this spot."

"The cabin was perfect for an overnight stay. It was so secluded and the woods were beautiful. We were able to walk to the winery/brewery down the road and spent a lovely night by the fire. We were comfortable sleeping in the cabin with the windows open. The farm was very cool although the llama (alpaca?) didn't seem to like me :) The owner was amazing and went above and beyond when we left something behind. Would definitely recommend as a unique overnight stay. "

"We stayed at Secluded Cottage 3 nights over July 4th along with our golden doodle. This cottage is adorable. Someone worked very hard and meticulously on this cottage. Very quiet and relaxing. Watched Luray's fireworks from the hot tub. Shout out to Bear Mountain Zip Line...fun!! Not far from Caverns and Skyline Drive. Definitely would stay again. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this cozy mountain house with my wife and our two kids. Deer with their fawns often came close to the house, which was such a magical sight. A beautiful tree was blooming right in front of the terrace, adding to the charm of the place. The location is perfect — just a short drive to the park, wineries, river rafting, and other attractions. Highly recommended for a peaceful family gateway."

"The cottage was just perfect! Clean, comfortable, peaceful, beautiful and had everything you need for your stay! Linny, was wonderful. She left a nice handwritten note and some yummy treats! We definitely would stay again!"

"Beautiful property, big yard, really nice space. Quick drive to the Thornton Gap park entrance. This was a great place to rest and relax after exploring the park all day. Nice kitchen, with everything you need. We had no cell reception and there is no WiFi (fine with us), so we relied on board games & cable TV for entertainment, which was plenty. "
