I liked that the room was clean n plenty of hot water. I booked this place because it had great reviews, well maybe they paid a fraction of what I paid. It was was supposed to sleep 4, it was a very small room,we were only 3, the beds were small, full size. The beds had a foam top that felt like a sponge, the sheets n cover had seen better days, very worn, the pillows were hard as rocks.They didn’t have a microwave in the room n the fridge was the smallest fridge I’ve ever seen. We couldn’t even enjoy the pool because it wasn’t heated, in December the sun is not strong enough to heat the pool !!! So we missed out on that. I feel I paid way too much for what I got!

John and Mike are very friendly and gave us great recommendations. We had a fantastic stay at Casa de Amistad. Loved the common area, backyard, the room, and the rooftop (best for star seeing). One of the best guesthouses I’ve ever stayed. My friends and I already miss it and will definitely go back. Also, the location is really convenient. Only 4 min walk to the ferry station and there are a few great restaurants and a grocery store nearby.

I highly recommend Casa Amistad! The level of service was truly exceptional, John and Mike went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of the stay was perfect. The staff's advice on local attractions and activities was invaluable. The artful clean rooms seamlessly blended aesthetics and comfort. Loved how close it was to the ferry arrived late so the short walk was nice, property manager waited for us to check in late, easy instructions given for arrival and departure, clean rooms, great air conditioning, grocery store near by

Stay here
Loved our room and the place has everything you could need from beach chairs and umbrellas for the day to a full shared kitchen and a cute pool. But the staff are the best part - super friendly and went out of their way to give recommendations and accommodated us with a late check out.

When my boyfriend and I were browsing places to stay in Vieques, we were skeptical of the overwhelmingly positive reviews for Casa de Amistad. They deserve all the praise. Megan gave us an incredible welcome to Vieques and Casa de Amistad. While we had only done cursory research on Vieques, she answered all our questions and provided many recommendations for recreational activities (she deserves credit for one of our favorite experiences--kayaking at the bioluminescent bay) and restaurants. Furthermore, she went out of her way to help us find a taxi when we were struggling to get ahold of transportation services to pick up our golf cart/UTV. We also met John and Mike during our visit; they also gave great recommendations on where to visit and let us keep our luggage at the guesthouse after check out so we could explore on our last day. As for the guesthouse itself, it was very comfortable, and the amenities were great. In particular, I appreciated the hand soap, considering many of the other hotels I've visited only provide "facial soap". I loved the decor and the conditioner and shampoo--my hair had never been softer (would love to know what brand if possible). Thanks for helping us make this trip wonderful!

Casa de Amistad was a great base for exploring Vieques! John and Mike made us feel so welcome and gave great recommendations. I especially appreciated the complimentary shower/bathroom for our check out day which allowed us to keep exploring the island, but also rinse off before our flight. Property was a little oasis with the beautiful gardens and rooftop terrace. I would definitely stay at the Casa again if i were to go back to Vieques.

John and Mike were absolute dream hosts. The room was clean, water pressure and hot water were perfect, the sounds of the city in Isabel were off chickens, cows, and coqui. There was Coffee available every morning, and drinks at the purple bar at sunset. Literally walking distance. Food at El Plaza, and so many other amazing places in the tiny city. Food at Rollimg Roost - also incredible. I don’t have enough great things to say about amistaf - Oh!! The beds were so comfy too! I would stay again a million more times.

There are too many good things to say about Casa De amistad so I’ll keep it short. The owners mike and John go above and beyond what you will ever expect. They are always available, and made us feel completely safe and relaxed. They are well connected with the island so they have tons of amazing recommendations. Also, the guest house itself is perfect and charming. Super clean, amazing amenities and they even have beach chairs and coolers etc for you to use free of charge. There is a full kitchen and an extra bathroom in case you may need it. If you’re reading this… book it now!!!!!!

I stayed three days and I was comfortable and the staff went out of their way to assist me with any of my requests. I really enjoyed my time on Vieques, travelers should be aware that Vieques is a pristine and natural environment for the most part. Therefore, if you do not like the sound of roosters crowing in the morning, and the crickets frogs and the birds singing, you probably should take a set of earplugs.

Our stay was perfect. Host was very friendly, informative, made suggestion for places to eat and visit. Casa Amistad was a very quiet, nature friendly, our unit was very well equipped even had beach towels and a basket which we think was very helpful. Kitchen was well equipped with all appliances and kitchen needs. Cafe and living room area was also another nice amenities. Let’s talk about the pool, gardens and rooftop areas. Pool was such an oasis and garden such a peaceful area. Roof top is an amazing area to just relax and stargazing. Very convenient and a walk away from restaurants, ferry & transportation. A must come back place. Highly recommended!

Perfect Honeymoon Stay
When we got to the property, it was a short walk from the ferry. We were greeted by Megan who was so friendly and extremely helpful! At our check in she gave us a map and marked all her recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The pool area was charming and very relaxing and the rooms were very clean. When we come back we will only be staying here!

The accommodation was very comfortable and modern, with air conditioning. The decide was beautiful and our hosts were very friendly, attentive, helpful and very accommodating. There were four of us friends staying and travelling together as a birthday trip. John and Mike farewelled us with a very nice bottle of sparkling wine -thank you. They are a wealth of information on what to do and see on the island. I would definitely recommend then to anyone looking to visit Vieques in the future and I would certainly seek then out on my next visit.

Casa de Amistad is beautiful however the best parts were John and Mike! They were both so kind and warm, it really felt like home. They offered us food suggestions, completed and entire map with all of the spots to lay on the beach or grab a drink. You do not get that kind of engagement just anywhere. We cannot wait to come back next spring. We will definitely be staying here for years to come.

The most unique and valuable feature of the property were the hosts! you will not find better hospitality or friendliness anywhere. The property was fantastic, comfortable, clean, stylish, very functional and lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy. I will be staying here again upon my return.

Very unique space because it was comfortable, homey, welcoming, generous, and still professional. The owners have created a truly positive and relaxing space, and are clearly dedicated to humane service. I left my bathing suit in my room and they offered to mail it back to me! Looking forward to going back to pick it up myself :-)

This is a gem. The owners Mike and John are incredible hosts, and they made every single part of our stay comfortable and fun. The guest house is adorable, with all amenities very thoughtfully included. There is a full kitchen for use, a swimming pool, snorkel rentals, and all beach items. They will even provide very useful info for tourism on the island. Two thumbs up, and we will definitely stay there again.

Hands down the best place to stay in Vieques. The owners were perfect and made sure we had everything we needed. Clean rooms. Nice beds. AC & TV. Amazing showers. Cool pool area. All the amenities you can think of from beach stuff to beer/water, full kitchen, and even gave me aloe vera for my skin burn. They will provide you with everything you need to know when visiting Vieques. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Enjoyed myself
This place has comfort and curb appeal. Outside of not having fresh towels/house keeping service until the evening of my 2nd day there, it was great to stay there (what I was told was that the house keeper was not feeling well and called out). I had easy access to the necessities and the 2 owners J & M was always checking in with us when ever we crossed paths in which was nice. I'd stay again.
