This is namely what our fantastic Sky View Apartment Vienna offers you. The dream apartment is located in the Leopoldtower, built around the shopping mall complex Citygate in the 21st district. Don’t be discouraged by the apartment’s location in an outer district, as the metro line U1, which stops right in front of the apartment tower, connects you to the city centre in only 15 minutes.

The light-flooded apartment is spread out over 55 square meters, offering space for up to 4 guests. A comfortable double bed can be found in the bright bedroom, the pull-out sofa in the charming living room offers two further sleeping spots. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, while a fully equipped kitchen gives you the possibility to prepare your own home-cooked meals. These can then be enjoyed at the dining table in the open living room space or, better yet, on your large terrace while taking in the magnificent view over Vienna and the surrounding nature. The terrace runs along the length of the apartment, and is accessible from both the bedroom and the living room. This type of apartment is very untypical for Vienna, offering the most modern infrastructure and a view that others can only dream of. In addition to offering all modern amenities, the apartment has been decorated with much love and attention to details and unique pieces – meaning you will find many antiquities, books and souvenir pieces from all over the world. We hope to make you feel right at home in this space, while experiencing Vienna from an utterly unique and breath-taking perspective. Floridsdorf, the twenty-first of Vienna’s districts, is located in the North of the city, spreading out over 44 square kilometres. It is largely home to rural houses near the outskirts of the city, nearer to the city centre you will find industrial buildings, and, more recently, many modern constructions and skyscraper office and apartment buildings, such as Leopoldtower. Thanks to the apartment’s convenient location by the U1, we highly recommend utilizing this metro line. In 4 stations, the metro will bring you to Alte Donau, the old Danube lake where you can visit the public bathing beach Gänsehäufel for some nature and water fun. Alternatively, you can rent a motor or pedal boat and explore the lake. 2 stations after Alte Donau, you will arrive at Donauinsel, the Danube Island that is a large green area where you can sit at a water-side café, go biking or just enjoy a picnic on the grass. If you disembark at Praterstern, you will find yourself at Vienna’s famous Prater amusement park, which further extends into a large green area along the Danube Canal – perfect for walks or renting a bike to enjoy some time in the nature.

As there are no bars or restaurants in the direct vicinity that could beat having your morning coffee and breakfast or a late-night cocktail on your own terrace, we recommend taking the U1 into the city centre for when you do feel like eating out. Upon disembarking at the Stephansplatz U1 station, we recommend grabbing a lunch at lovely French Bistro Le Bol before spending the afternoon enjoying a traditional Melange and treat at Kurkonditorei Oberlaa or Café Hawelka. For authentic Mediterranean cuisine, head on over to Da Capo Pizzeria nearby St. Stephan’s Cathedral (Stephansdom). For a classic Viennese Schnitzel, don’t miss a visit at the famous Figlmüller restaurant. You can best top off the evening in the city centre with a delicious cocktail or Spritzer while overlooking Vienna’s rooftops and the stunning St. Stephen’s Cathedral (Stephansdom) at elegant Sky Bar or Do & Co Hotel Bar.

The apartment is located in the Leopoldtower apartment building, built around the Citygate shopping mall. With its modern infrastructure, you will find everything you need in the mall – from a supermarket and pharmacy, to drugstore and multiple bakeries. With the U1 metro stop Aderklaaer Straße right in front of the building, you will find yourself in the heart of the Vienna city centre in only 15 minutes. Disembark at stations Schwedenplatz, Stephansplatz or Karlsplatz in the first district, depending on where exactly you want to start exploring from. What is more, a Park and Ride garage is located right around the corner, where you can park for less than 5 Euros per day.
