Viehofen is picturesquely situated between Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Zell am See and is an excellent base for enjoying nature and sporting activities. In the cold season, guests can reach the Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn and the Schmittenhöhe in a short time; ski bus, lifts and slopes are all within easy reach. In the warmer months, numerous hiking and biking trails start nearby, and Lake Zell is ideal for swimming, water sports and walks along the promenade. Restaurants, shops and a small supermarket in the village are easily accessible on foot or by car
