Casa Vaquero, built 1933 from timber milled locally. Walking distance to downtown Wrightwood; minutes from Mountain High Ski Resorts.

Large open plan bedroom upstairs; sleeper sofa downstairs + loft up top. Sleeps 4 adults + two kids (or 1 more adult) in loft. Fully stocked kitchen; BBQ on deck; Fenced dog yard with doggie door. Wood burning stove and gas heating. This is one of the sweetest chalets in town, pricing may be slightly higher than other listings, but you will not be disappointed! Now with high-speed internet and streaming channels!

Walking distance from the taverns and bistros of cozy downtown Wrightwood, Casa Vaquero is the perfect getaway. It can be a ski chalet or a writer's retreat. We bought this when we were in our 20's (a long time ago) and we have rebuilt it to be a beautiful and solid cabin. Elevation is at 6100ft.

We have recently installed high speed internet and a 48" Roku TV with streaming channels and a selection of DVD/VHS for both film buffs and families (Note: There is generally good mobile service at the cabin, and fun coffee shops & pubs in town with wi-fi and live music at times). Lots of board games and books to savor if you get snowed in!
