Restored to its original 1915 design and upgraded to 21C convenience this amazing 'mini palazzo' is sure to leave its mark. Fully self-catering with all modern conveniences.

This remarkable building is replete with traditional features: patterned hand-made floor tiles, soaring decorated ceilings, timber beams, traditional Maltese timber balconies, hand-made wrought iron railings, grand stone staircase, private courtyard and sculptured doorways - all from the early 20C that will take you back in time while you immerse yourself in the heart of this ancient vibrant town.

It also includes some unexpected twists: a 'Hamam' style marble-lined internal cool-water pool/Jacuzzi and a roof-top entertainment sundeck and living room with outstanding views of Gozo's ancient citadel and distant sea views (and, on a clear day, amazing views of Sicily).

Enjoy the magical pedestrian heart of old Rabat. Just 100 metres from the Basilica of St George and its fabulously vibrant square with cafes, bars, restaurants, museums all at your doorstep.

The place has been outfitted to be fully self-catering with all modern amenities including two kitchens (ovens/hobs/dishwasher/washmachine), orthopaedic mattresses, 100% cotton bedsheets, ensuites throughout, HD TVs, ACs, mesh WIFI and bluetooth speakers throughout.

The house has its own independent street entrance.

We are really sorry that:

1. We are unable to accomodate guests who have difficulty with stairs.

The building is over four floors with two bedrooms on each of the middle two floors. The place does not have an elevator.

2. We are unable to accomodate children.

The place is furnished with original early 20C furniture, fabric and delicate light fittings etc.

3. We are unable to accomodate parties or loud activities.

The place is in the centre of a quiet, pedestrian, tight-knit local area. We have a duty of care to our neighbours.

Other things to note:

The property is fully self-catering. All towels, linen etc will be provided.

The place will be cleaned and fully prepared prior to your arrival.

For stays longer than 2 nights, additional bed linen and towels will be provided.

Please advise if you have any special requirements.

Private pick up from Malta (and return) can be arranged (at an additional charge.)


Guests have access to the entire house and all its amenities except for unused bedrooms.

Bookings of 1-2 guests: Guests will be provided the main bedroom on first floor.

Bookings of 3-4 guests: Guests will be provided both bedrooms on the first floor.

Bookings of 5-6 guests: Guests will be provided both bedrooms on the first floor and the front bedroom on the second floor.

For bookings of 7-8 guests please enquire.

Both the owner and the house manager live locally and will be availabel 24/7 for assistance or any emergencies.
