Quiet and comfortable house - 4 people - Veules-les-Roses - near beach - garden

Our vacation home "Les Champs-Élysées" is a recently renovated traditional house, in very good condition, located on the banks of the Veules river, on the pleasant Chemin des Champs-Élysées which leads on foot to the beach of Veules-les-Roses.

Veules-les-Roses is a village on the coast of Haute-Normandie which is classified among « Les Plus Beaux Villages de France ». It is located about 25 km from Dieppe.

Veules-les-Roses is accessible by public transport (train to Dieppe + bus 514). Timetables are available upon request.

Our house has been rated with a 3 stars quality mark. It can comfortably accommodate up to four people, and is ideal for resting and having a good time.

It is also well suited for combining periods of remote work with vacations.

Ground floor: entrance hall, living room with television, DVD reader and telephone, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, WC with sink.

On the first floor, landing leading to bedroom 1 (double bed 190 x 140 cm, cupboards and desk), to bedroom 2 (2 single beds 190 x 90 cm, cupboard and chest of drawers, possibility of reorganization into a double bed 190 x 180 cm, with a mattress topper to make it more comfortable) , and to the bathroom (shower cubicle and sink).

Garden with terrace, table and chairs, umbrella, barbecue, lounge chairs and deckchairs, accessible from kitchen and also directly from the street.
Bikes, strollers and beach equipment can be kept in the garden, and brought there directly from the street.

Baby equipment available upon request: baby cot (120 x 60 cm, extra charge of 50 euros), high chair and baby bathtub.

The beds are equipped with mattrass covers, and we provide bed sheets, hand and kitchen towels, table linen, as well as shower/bath towels.

The mattrasses are new (12/2021) and of good quality in both bedrooms.

The house is well heated (central heating system based on natural gas) and is also equiped with a Godin stove (can be used with prior agreement).

Parking on designated parking spots and areas is free in Veules-les-Roses. Several large parking areas are available at the entrances to the village. It is also generally possible to park in the streets near the house. There is enough space just in front of the house to park a motorcycle.

A very fast optical fiber internet connection is available (both ethernet and wifi).

The house is non-smoking, and we do not accept pets.

The rate is automatically reduced by 10% for stays of a week or more, and by 30% from four weeks.

For long stays, e.g. professional ones or to work remotely, combining or not with vacations, please ask for a special discount.

The village has a pharmacy, a bakery, two grocery stores, and numerous restaurants. The weekly market, held every Wednesday morning, offers fresh produce from many local farmers. Oysters from Veules-les-Roses can be purchased on the beach, and fresh fish is also available on certain days.
