In summer, enjoy the tranquil mountain landscape at Vaset with well-signposted hiking and cycling trails, a section of the Mjølkevegen route and the opportunity to swim or fish in Vasetvatnet. In winter, you can use the small, family-friendly ski centre with several slopes and lifts as well as around 120 kilometres of groomed cross-country ski trails that run through open fells and forest areas. At any time of year, Vaset is an ideal base from which to experience the typical Valdres mountain landscape with its open summer farms, tranquil lakes and vast plateaus.
