"Host was great, contacted me to say thank you for renting his house. Hot tub was perfect which was one of main reasons for renting the house, along with the 2 bathrooms, and the location. A good floor plan for 2 or more people. It was just my friend and I so we loved having are own separate wings!!! It also was not hard to find and close to the bourbon bar and a few wineries. Once you get the lay of the area other wineries are not hard to find. Overall hard a great time."

"Host was flexible and quickly responsive. Every need was anticipated and provided for. The deck and hot tub were great! (Firepit didn't work but we didn't need it.) My husband made huge breakfasts each morning and had everything he needed. It was nice to be able to bring our dog! Perfect, quiet location near wineries and Giant City State Park. We and our adult daughter and our dog had a wonderful time!"

"Great cabin; clean, and cozy and private. The hot tub and fire pit were used daily. There are trails on the property. We went to Giant Park which is close; don’t miss the fried chicken at the lodge. We drove about 1.5 hours hike the observation trail at Garden of Gods; well worth the drive! Carbondale is a short drive; great time chilling at cabin !!"

"An amazing home! The perfect secluded area, but still so close to civilization!! The two lakes right by the house were amazing. The movie room was so nice and we loved the pool area that was just a 1 minute drive away! The massive fridge, deep freezer, and ice maker were huge perks. Also every person had an actual SUPER comfy bed to sleep on. 10/10 super luxurious and resort feels for southern Illinois."
