Beautiful apartment with small garden. Very comfortable and well equipped on the side if a beautiful Rio. The apartment was not my original choice but VRBO found it for me when the original host cancelled at short notice because of a double booking. The apartment was in a quiet area, far from the scourge of mass tourism, and we were met by a delightful young lady who was clear with her advice and instructions and was accessible and helpful particularly in arranging taxis to and from the airport.My wife and I have visited Venice on more than 50 occasions and we usually stay for at least two weeks though this time it was for only 11 days. We visited familiar places, avoided tourists and reconnected with friends we have made over the years so we are, perhaps, not typical tourists.
