Penthouse in the historic centre with stunning views over the city's rooftops

Flat for 2 people in the historic centre, a few steps from Piazza San Marco.
The flat consists of a living area with an open kitchen, dining table and a comfortable sofa, from which you can enjoy a splendid view of the city. The sloping roof and exposed beams make the flat particularly warm and welcoming. The bedroom has two single beds or duble bed and is on the same level as the living area and the full bathroom, which has a bathtub.
The flat is located on the fourth floor of a building with a lift and a guarded concierge (during the day).

Please note:
30 euro to pay cash at the arrival for late check in (9pm-12am), 50 euro in case of check in after midnight.

Amazing Stay in the Best location in Venice

This stunning apartment is right in the heart of all the main attractions in San Marco.It was an easy walk from the Rialto waterbus stop and to make it even easier Giovanna personally met us there and brought us while also telling us some of the local history and highlights.The apartment is exactly as advertised, if not even better.The views from the fourth floor windows were great and the sunrises captured beautifully in the morning!There is a lift to get you to the fourth floor so no worries there and it is a gated apartment with a doorman so felt very safe.Many amazing restaurants only a few steps away and lots of shopping!I would definitely stay here when I return to Venice and would highly recommend to anyone as well.Grazie Mille Giovanna!!!

Great location - close to San Marco & Rialto

Authentic Venetian charm and great location. Even in October it as hot and the air conditioning units do almost nothing to help. Having a couple fans would have really made a difference. Also, the staircase into the "second bedroom" is treacherous and the main bedroom is a mattress on the floor. Local assistance from Francesca was helpful as she met us and guided us to the property and also arranged for a water taxi from/to the airport.

Broken promises

The location of this property is perfect. It is also very quiet. However, the description is not accurate. There are air conditioning units but THEY DO NOT WORK. It was very warm so difficult to sleep. If one opens the windows the mosquitoes come in. The beds in the loft are only accessible by a narrow and quite dangerous spiral staircase. Also, the description says that there is access to a washing machine. This was not the case. There was a notice on the door saying we could not use it. I actually feel that I deserve a partial refund because of these issues.

Family of 4 - Close to Everything!

A perfect location. Easy to the grand canal, easy to many of the top attractions, and so nice to just sit and sip a cafe or spritz at many places steps from the front door. Wonderful!

Impeccable location! Just the backyard of Piazza S Marco that you can also enjoy when the daily visitors leave the city. A plus is the available books describing the real Venice!

Excellent Almost Everything

Everything was wonderful. A few things that really stood out was the communication with the property manager. She not only helped us figure out how to get from the Airport, but she met us in town and personally guided us to the right place. She was exceptionally responsive and helpful. The location was in the heart of the city and an easy walk to everything. The penthouse view was amazing. It wasn't on the water, but beautiful view of the top of the city, the rooftop life and sculptures/architecture at eye level. A different, but fascinating perspective. Only little thing to mention was that the hot water only lasted a few minutes at a time. So take fast showers. Not a big deal, but something to plan for. Overall 5/5 rating. My husband and children (23 and almost 18) stayed there very comfortably with room to spare (2 beds were not used). Would definitely recommend.

Centrally located in a beautiful building in Venice. Apartment can easily accommodate 6 adults. Walking distance to all attractions only couple of minutes to St Marco Square. Will return if we go to Venice again.

Great Stay in Venice

Our only regret was not staying longer in Venice. The location was perfectly centralized to allow us walks everywhere. We loved the place even though the AC struggled to keep pace with the record heat. Communication with the manager and her overall professionalism was outstanding.

Close to the action, but a quiet oasis

Me, my husband, and our two daughters (8 and 5) stayed here for 2 nights. Francesca was communicative leading up to our arrival and patiently helped guide us to meet her via text and voice call when we had trouble finding the place (we had some difficulty with Google maps in Venice). The apartment was lovely - I think better than the pictures. We had never been to Venice, so wanted to be close to San Marco and the Grand Canal for walking with the girls. This location was perfect, yet felt quiet and secluded as soon as you entered the building. The loft was hard to get cool with A/C and there were mosquitos so we didn't want to leave the windows open, but since it hit nearly 90 degrees when we were there, that wasn't too surprising or bothersome to us. Not sure the next time we'll make it back to Venice, but we would happily stay here again if we do. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

Awesome apartment in super location!

We only had 1 1/2 days to explore Venice, so this location was perfect. You can see St. Mark’s Cathedral from the windows!! Super cute & unique layout in a beautiful building. Francesca met us at the dock, walked us to the location & went over all pertinent information. Super host, clean facilities & walking distance to all main sites.

Clean and host very welcoming

Host was very kind and even made some travel arrangements for us. Room had all amenities but be careful on steps to upper floor. Elevator does not work in early morning. We had to catch a water taxi at 4 am and had to bring luggage down several flights of stairs. Overall great experience and would rent again if needed.

This property was absolutely perfect. It had the right amenities and a fabulous location in San Marco. Very easy to get around, and extremely close the the Rialto. The pictures do t do it justice, you will have to see for yourself! The host was amazing, accommodating and personally let us in. 10/10

Our family of four, including two children really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location was really unbeatable. It was within a five minute walking distance to Saint Marks Square as well as the Rialto bridge. Despite being so central, it was very quiet at night, and we slept very well here. The apartment is actually a little nicer than what we expected from the photos. Of course, there are quarks as this apartment is a very old apartment in a very old historic building, as to be expected. Francesca, the apartment manager, was extremely proactive and helpful, and made the check in extremely easy. she was very kind and helpful and answered many of our questions regarding transportation. Would definitely highly recommend.

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location near San Marco

The apartment is beautiful, very clean, easy access by elevator, beautiful views from the windows. Easy access from the vaporetto Rialto stop, 5 minutes walk to San Marco. Francesca was awesome- super helpful, responded very quickly, was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

Lage, Lage, Lage

Die Ferienwohnung liegt äußerst zentral zwischen Markusplatz und Rialto. Renata hat uns am Alilaguna Anleger abgeholt und zur Wohnung begleitet. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war absolut in Ordnung, nicht nagelneu, aber sauber und funktional. Das Apartment liegt im 4. Stock mit Aufzug. Die Betten waren bequem und unser Teenager hatte die Galerie als sein Reich. Für warmes Wasser musste man den Hahn etwas laufen lassen, aber es ist halt Altbau 4. Stock. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden dort jederzeit wieder übernachten.

Francesca and Renata were great hosts. The check in was very smooth as Venetia could be overwhelming for First time visitors and it is very easy to get lost. They waited at the transportation and walked us to the apartment and gave all instructions. A great place that would definitely recommend!
