You can also explore the picturesque Vejle Valley, go for walks through the woods around Munkebjerg with a visit to the popular ice-cream parlour, or spend relaxing hours on the child-friendly beaches of Skyttehuset and Tirsbæk, which are also excellent spots for catching crabs. Stroll through the shops and cafés of Vejle’s historic pedestrianised high street, whose history dates back to 1511, or visit Jelling with its famous Viking monuments, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lalandia, Legoland and Givskud Zoo are just a short drive away.
