"Nice location and brilliant view. But I wouldn't recommend Daku Resort to anyone. The whole place is a mess inside and out. Very poorly maintained. Rooms very filthy. Paints faded everywhere. Broken tiles inside the Bure. Being a house owner, I can personally say that the whole resort hasn't been painted for more then 10 years. It's definitely not worth the money that I had paid to stay there for 2 nights.

"The ground level views from the room and dining room were spectacular. The flying fox colony didnt worry me too much as a nature lover but I can understand the screeching would have annoyed others. We had an outdoor shower that was nice but couldn't get any water pressure or hot water reliably. Sometimes the water was hot for 30 seconds, sometimes not at all. When you're constantly going into the ocean, you need a reliable shower to wash off the salt and sand.
