This property was exactly what we were looking for. Private, serene, massive space to spread out. We had excellent communication with the property manager throughout any issue. Location was excellent for our golf, volleyball events outside Valpo. We will be going back again next year without question.

Would definitely host again. They were great with communication, and left the house very clean.

Perfect Summer Family Getaway Home
This property was exactly what we were looking for our friends/family trip! Super clean and had more than enough space for 6 kids to run around. Everything was organized and labeled properly. Tabetha the property owner was incredibly helpful and was always so prompt with answers to all of my questions! This place was fantastic!

What an amazing home and property! The pictures don't do justice to how spacious the home is. Very clean and generously stocked with everything you need. Awesome outdoor space for both adults and kids. Loved our stay!

Space Galore
Suited our family’s space needs very well. Nicely furnished. Too chilly to enjoy all outdoor spaces, but was great to enjoy the view and not feel crowded by nearby neighbors. The huge dining table was used to its capacity for a couple of eat in dinners. All Great!!!

Thanksgiving 2021
This house was great, the pictures online don't do it justice. It is much bigger than the pictures showed. There are 2 large sitting areas with TVs which was perfect for those not wanting to watch sports all weekend. I would recommend this house to anyone with a larger group staying in the Northwest Indiana area. Tabetha was great to work with & she even came by to fix the TV in person.

I loved meeting Jeff and his family. They invited me to stay for Thanksgiving dinner, after fixing the tv, and I figured why not… when else will I get an opportunity to spend a holiday with people I don’t know. It was a Thanksgiving I’ll never forget lol. I made lifelong friends. I was supposed to be the host, but I have never felt so welcomed. Thank you for the memories and laughs. Thank you for allowing me to share the holiday with your family, and thank you for leaving the house spotless lol. I can’t wait for next year!!!

Weldon Acres is an amazing place to visit!
Peaceful, relaxing, luxury! We spent a week at Weldon Acres and loved every minute of it! They really pay attention to the details! Brand new beds with high quality linens and pillows, plenty of soft towels, and a kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook or bake. Two spacious living areas, tasteful and interesting artwork on the walls, and a cupboard full of games for adults and kids. Plus an outdoor area that is inviting, peaceful and family friendly. Walking trails, a fire pit, a gas grill and a luxurious hot tub are provided for all to enjoy. They even provide a S’mores basket with enough for everyone to enjoy around the fire pit. The secluded lake at the back of the property offers beautiful views, solitude and serenity. And if you decide to drop a line into the water, the catch-and-release fishing will not disappoint! But where they really shine is in their personal hospitality. Knowing that we were bringing two young children, they provided a pack-n-play and supplied some extra games and puzzles for very young kids. Not only that, Tabetha surprised us with two kid-sized treasure buckets with goodies for the little ones! They also decorated the outdoors with seasonal decorations and bunches of little pumpkins throughout the property placed for the kids to find. (Yes, they did that specifically because they knew we were bringing young kids!) This place is incredibly kid friendly, even for two kids under 4 years old! This is a great place to kick back and relax. It is owned and run by nice people who treat you like you are someone special! We plan to stay here again when we visit the Valparaiso area. A big thank you to Tabetha and her family. Weldon Acres = our favorite place to stay in Valpo!

Great house and property
Weldon Acres is a fantastic spot! The house and property are well equipped, fully stocked, and wonderfully hosted. We new it was a great place immediately upon arrival. It is clear the hosts went the extra mile. From snacks and s’mores supplies, to the custom Weldon Acres cornhole boards, to the bedding and linens, the house is set! Would fully recommend Weldon Acres!

Beautiful, modern and very clean
We were a group of 16 people and this property was amazing for us. The house was very clean with everything like pots and pan, pretty much like brand new. The owners have taken a lot of effort to make their guests feel welcome. They had water and La Croix in the fridge along with stuff for smores - this was all complimentary. The property had huge grounds, lovely hot tub, fire pit and lot of games like puzzles, Jenga etc to keep the teenagers busy. It is just a 15 min drive to Indiana dunes and an hour away from Chicago. The host was very approachable and communicated with us promptly answering any questions we may have. Loved our 3 night stay there and will definitely be back!

Perfect for a Team Retreat
We had the most amazing time at the Weldon Estate! The property was clean and beautifully decorated. The outdoor area is well-kept with lots of options for hanging and being together. It was nice to have a space that was large enough for our team of 14 to be comfortable in nearly any room. Tabetha and her brother showed great hospitality toward our team and we cannot wait to stay here in the future!

This group was amazing, and the best first guests to have. They were very respectful, even asked if they should take their shoes off. We couldn’t even tell they were there, the home was so spotless. They even went above and beyond, knowing it was my bday the day they checked out, and left me the cutest poster that they all signed with bday wishes!!! We cannot wait to have them stay with us again!!!
