"This was our third visit to this home. Check in was easy, it is conveniently located to the lake swimming area and Trough Creek State Park. The hiking trails around the cabin are great! Everything is clean and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need even for a group of 11. Large pantry space and a second refrigerator are appreciated! We will be back!"

If you are looking to get away and enjoy the peaceful tranquility of nature, or if you enjoy fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and everything outdoors, this place is for you! "We stayed for 3 nights. Secluded cabin on the side of a hill up a gravel road from the main road. You could see neighbors, but they were not close. This made it very peaceful to sleep and sit on the great front porch. Although it felt remote, we were less than 10 minutes away from the main entrance to Lake Raystown and 20 or 30 minutes from the Allegrippis mountain biking trails. "My partner and I enjoyed our 2 night stay in the River Cabin at River Mountain Farm. The cabin is teeny, nothing fancy but cozy and just as listed. Great shower in bathroom and Starbucks k-cups each morning. We had a straight shot past the barn and shed to the river where we took out 2 of the kayaks available and I caught 7 fish early Sunday morning. I didn’t want to leave the tranquility of this little slice of heaven. Would love to go back sometime!"

"This was our second time staying at this property. Obviously we loved it the first time. Our experience was just as good the avacation. The kids loved playing on the boat and going down the slides.
