The apartment is just a short walk to the main gate into the old city and very close to the beautiful Turia gardens so we were very pleased with location. Nice balcony and spacious comfortable living room. It was relatively quiet although the walls were a little thin (I could hear someone snoring in the next apartment :-D) but the bed was very comfortable.Our only complaint is that the property manager never responded to our request to fix the bathroom sink that was clogged and not usable from the day we moved in. Also, the dishes and placemats need to be replaced (time worn and stained.)We were generally pleased with our stay with these few exceptions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the apartment is in a good location with supermarkets close by and a pleasant walk into the old town over the Serranos bridge and through the old gate under the towers. The walk to and from the city can be varied using the Turia gardens and the various access points, we walked from the City of Arts and Science to the Neuvo Centre and Botanic gardens (not all in one journey). Thankfully the apartment was a quiet haven to rest and recover in after a full day pounding the pavements, galleries and museums and we were very comfortable. We slept really well on the very comfortable bed with crisp white bedding and appreciated the fluffy white towels in the bathroom. The kitchen was a well equipped space and we enjoyed cooking some meals with ingredients bought locally. The description is very accurate but does not convey the really comfortable and homely atmosphere of the apartment or the generous/friendly/helpful host’s. A great place to stay and one that we can truly recommend.

This apartment is in an ideal location – just outside the bustle of the old town, close to transportation and grocery stores, and an easy walk through the Serrano Gate into the town or along the Turia Park. Comfortable, well-equipped, in a quiet building, David’s apartment is just what we were looking for. He is an excellent host, friendly, quick to respond, and knowledgeable about the city. We were here for three weeks – this is highly recommended for a long stay. It came to feel like home - we will definitely be back here on our next trip to Valencia.

David was very good and quick at responding to our inquiries. The location of the apartment to the old town is very walkable. The only draw back is that the bedrooms are small. The balcony and the amount of sun coming in to the living room is a big plus. The beautiful eucalyptus tree in front of the balcony gives a good amount of shade and is beautiful to look at.

A well equipped apartment in a residential building within a 6-7 minute walk from the city Check in was very quick and efficient Malcolm the Co-host gave us lots of local advice Extra heaters and blankets were provided for when the heating was not sufficient A very vibrant city and great for a city break

Die Kommunikation mit David und seinem Kollegen war unkompliziert und freundlich. Auch die Lage der Wohnung - der kurze Weg in die Altstadt und die vielen Bistros und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten "vor der Haustür" - waren super. Leider haben wir ansonsten nichts Positives zu der FeWo mitzuteilen. Tatsächlich ist das Interieur arg in die Jahre gekommen und auch die Sauberkeit lässt an einigen Stellen sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Wohnung müsste nicht nur eine intensive Grundreinigung - vor allem in Küche und Bad - erfahren, sondern auch Geräte wie Wasserkocher, Toaster, Backofenrost, Dunstabzugshaube usw., aber auch Bettwäsche und Handtücher einfach mal erneuert werden. Außerdem war uns persönlich die direkte Nachbarschaft im Haus zu laut, da das Haus sehr hellhörig ist, aber das ist Geschmackssache und stört vielleicht nicht jeden. Die wirklich tolle Stadt und die Ausflüge in die Umgebung haben uns letztendlich aber entschädigt, sodass es trotzdem ein sehr schöner Urlaub war.

The apartment was in a great location for us. Easy and frequent transport links to where we wanted to get to. The Old Town/Torres de Serrano and Turia Park were for us a pleasant short walk away. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Supermarkets really close too. The apartment was decent with all that was needed for our stay of two weeks. The shower was a bit tricky to work out as it got hot and cold intermittently but eventually we got used to it. We found that the wi-fi signal was strong in the living room but kept dropping off when we were in the bedrooms. Overall we had a very pleasant stay here.

I spent 3 months at this location. It is very well located with he metro to the beach almost across the road and a short distance to Old City entrance. The building is safe, clean and well maintained. The apartment is as advertised. Neighborhood is friendly and for the most part Spanish speaking only. There are plenty of places to eat or drink and much less costly than the old city.

We stayed for a short break . The apartment was exactly what we wanted. Great location walking distance to the old town and access to transport/ shops / restaurants etc. I read other reviews and the mention of noise from neighbours which there was some but to be honest it didn’t bother us too much . You are in a residential block and people have to go to work but we are early risers so we were out from early . We did hear the musical practice I think maybe an oboe or clarinet but it was one hour and we sat on the balcony and watched the world go by . The main things for me are a comfortable bed with nice bed linen . Plenty of nice clean towels and hot water . The kitchen equipment could do with updating ie toaster and kettle .overall a good stay in a great location.

The apartment is well situated only about 10 minutes walk from the start of the old city, but with pastry/bread shop, supermarket and loads of bars and eating places around. Very comfortable living/dining room and great to watch València life go by from the balcony.

Appartement propre, bien situé à proximité de tous les services nécessaires ( epierie, métro, bus etc) . La.plage ainsi que les quartiers touristiques sont facilement accessibles à pieds ou en métro. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié notre terrasse. David est demeure disponible et nous a même laissé des cartes pour transport en commun. Une bonne option !

El único idioma con la persona que nos recepciono fue en inglés por lo que fue difícil ponernos en contacto con el. Además no nos pareció bien el cobro de 20 euros por llegar más tarde de las nueve de la noche. Vimos que se indica en la web pero creo que debería estar mejor indicado. El resto muy bien

Die Wohnung ist sehr hübsch und gut ausgestattet. Man hat nicht das Problem wie in anderen Wohnungen, wichtige Dinge selbst beschaffen zu müssen. Insbesondere die Lage ist für einen Valencia-Aufenthalt umwerfend gut. Eine direkte Metro-Linie zum Strand, drei Buslinien entweder direkt vor dem Haus - hin - oder in großer Nähe, ein kurzer Weg zu den Torres de Serran und damit zur Stadtmitte und die Lage zu den Jardi del Turia sind etwas ganz Besonderes. Beim nächsten Besuch erste Wahl.

Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung, ist jedoch mittlerweile ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Die Sauberkeit ließ beim Einchecken leider zu wünschen übrig. Den ersten Tag haben wir erstmal mit reinigen und desinfizieren verbracht. Sonst ist sie gut gelegen und gut ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Durch die Klimaanlage und die Ventilatoren ist auch der heißeste Sommer erträglich. Im Großen und Ganzen hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Valencia. Die Stadt ist traumhaft schön und der Strand für die ganze Familie von klein bis groß geeignet. Mit geliehenen Fahrrädern haben wir alles gut erkunden können. Zum Strand sind wir mit dem Bus gefahren. Am allermeisten hat uns die Kulinarik Valencias gefallen. Jede Bar und jedes Restaurant ist ein Highlight!

Wir waren 4 Wochen lang Gäste in diesem Appartment und für unsere Vorstellungen war es wirklich ideal. Auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht und für 2 Pers. mehr als großzügig. Wohnen inmitten von Einheimischen, aber auch mit leichtem Zugang zu allen touristischen Attraktionen dieser wundervollen Stadt. Sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe, ebenso der Weg zur Altstadt (Puente Serranos) und natürlich der herrliche Parque Túria, den es wirlich zu entdecken gilt. Auch die Tram-Verbindung zum Strand und der Marina liegen praktisch vor der Tür, wie überhaupt die Anbindung mit öffentl. Verkehrsmitteln in der gesamten Stadt und in dem Viertel hervorragend sind. Nicht zu vergessen der wunderbare "Kiosco de la Comida" mit gutem und vielfältigen Essensangeboten ganz in der Nähe, der uns an so manchen Tagen nach unseren Ausflügen und Besichtigungen den Tag gerettet hat. Alles in allem haben wir uns rundherum wohl gefühlt und wir sind jeden Tag sehr gerne wieder "nachhause" gekommen. David ist ein freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber.
