"My husband and I were running behind for check-in due to taking our kiddos to the irrigation festival fireworks. The gentleman who was running the front desk was amazing and communicated with us. We arrived just before 11pm when they were supposed to close the front desk, but he was more than willing to stay later and even figure out how to mark us as a late check-in if we were past 11:30pm. Definitely will stay again if needed. "

"Check-in was fast & easy, there was plenty of parking near our room. Some rooms are accessed from the parking lot, others by stairs or a ramp (which ours was). We had a partial water view balcony, which was small but still nice, but only 1 chair. The room was basic but clean. The mattress was on the firmer side, but the pillow was super-firm (think rock) the 2nd pillow on the bed was flat & flimsy. Neither was comfortable. "It's an interesting place to stay for sure, love the vintage vibe however the neon beer signs in the windows at the restaurant kill that vibe a lot. I would definitely take the neon signs down. Not too expensive and close to downtown Portsend which is great! "

"We loved Woodland Bluff house. It was fabulous! We rented the top floor of the home and it was beautiful and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathrooms were equivalent to having your own spa, and the massage chair was a great, new experience for us! We had a fire outside the first night by the bluff and watched the sunset. There is also a fabulous shared hot tub.
