Nestled on a private working ranch, this charming one-bedroom cabin offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by open skies, rolling pastures, and the occasional distant rumble of a thunderstorm, it's the perfect retreat for couples, solo travelers, or small families seeking tranquility and adventure.
The cabin sits within our 83 acre mountain ranch. You will be staying in a little cabin on the front of the property.
The cabin is yours. You are welcome to explore the ranch. Please enjoy the many different animals on the property and feel free to explore the hills to find all sorts of treasures!
The cabin sits within our 83 acre mountain ranch. You will be staying with us on our farm. It's a small little cabin on the front of the property. You will have privacy. Your welcome to explore the hills for wild life, fossils, birds, and fresh air.
Bring a cooler with ice! There isn’t a fridge in the cabin. You may want to bring your own water. We have plenty of water, however it is supplied by a well. We will supply up to 5 gallons of water for your coffee or other cooking necessities and to drink. It is a working ranch. You are welcome to see what we do or you can have all the privacy you want!
We supply sheets, pillows (one per guest), and a quilt per bed. If you think you will need more bedding than that please be sure to bring it with you. We do not supply towels.
NOTICE: We are NOT responsible for or liable for any and all accidents, injuries, falls, animal encounters, drownings, deep mud, slippery conditions, fire, lost or stolen items, damages or vehicles left over 7 days or any other physical, emotional or monetary loss and/or injury that may occur traveling to, during your stay or after your visit.
The Thunder Strike Ranch can and will experience sever and extreme weather, including but not limited to, heavy rain, flash flooding, strong winds, dislodged rocks, deep snow and freezing temperatures.
We do not condone or permit the use of any illegal and/or all hazardous devices, materials or activities on our property.
The property does have a variety of resident and transient farm/ranch animals as well as wild animals that can and do occasionally gain access to the ranch, hiking/biking trails and recreational areas, including but not limited to, cattle, horses, mules, coyotes, bears, raccoons, skunks, bats, rodents, badgers, eagles/hawks, venomous snakes/reptiles and even mountain lions, deer and elk.
Wild and domestic animals may harbor dangerous pathogens, diseases and parasites, including but not limited to ticks, tick borne diseases, rabies, brucellosis, giardiasis and a variety of other infectious and parasitic disease. (i.e. Lyme disease, ring worm, tapeworm, prion disease, infectious diarrhea and more)
There are physically dangerous cliffs ledges, drop offs, erosive stream banks, Potential Construction and landscaping, heavy equipment, trenches, holes and other potentially hazardous places and things on the property. Plan accordingly, watch your children and pets carefully and continuously and always be attentive to your surroundings and circumstances as your life and/or the lives of your loved ones may depend on it.
All guests camping, visiting, activities, expedition and all experiences provided by or ANY and all Aires are operated under the direction and management of The Thunder Strike Ranch and Lightning Springs Outfitters and we are NOT responsible for injury or bad weather.
