The Poddąbie lighthouse is 30 km away by car towards Rowy or 23 km on foot along the beach. - Moving dunes The moving dunes are unique in Europe and are located 20 km east of Poddąbie. The largest moving dune is called Lacka Góra and is located in the former settlement of Łączka, the so-called Sowie Mountains, next to the villages of Kluk and Smlodzina. The views are reminiscent of an African desert landscape. The dunes are located in the Słowiński Natural Park. This park was established in 1967 and was originally called the Kashubian Park. Its area is 18,000 hectares. The nature reserve is listed as a World Biosphere Reserve. The first dunes are located near Człopin to Łeba. Jurassic Park The dinosaur park in Łeba is a fantastic adventure from the past to the Cretaceous period. If you are planning a holiday in this seaside resort, you absolutely must book a visit here. Prehistoric Forest A unique attraction for all those who want to relax in Poddąb and around the Słowiński Natural Park. On the beach near Człopin, the sea has uncovered a prehistoric forest from 3000 years ago. Tree trunks, remnants of an oak and beech forest that had been destroyed by fire, were discovered in the Baltic Sea. The forest probably grew tens of kilometres from the coast and was destroyed by settlement or fire three thousand years ago.
