The gateway to the regional nature park Millevaches in Limousin, Meymac and its old town, with its old houses is located in Haute-Corrèze, 16 km west of Ussel.

With many rivers and hiking trails winding through it, this charming rural resort has many attractions to offer. On the territory of the commune rises Mount Bessou, which peaks at 976 meters above sea level. This unspoiled green place, the highest point of the plateau of Millevaches, offers you a magnificent view of the Auvergne mountains from its observation tower!



The small town of Meymac, also one of the most beautiful detours in France, invites you to discover its monuments steeped in history, including the ancient Benedictine Abbey of St. Andrew and St. Leger, founded at the end of the 11th century a very beautiful Romanesque church is still preserved today.
