"Although it was not easy to drive to the resort from Dar es Salaam (especially with our RAV4), our family had a wonderful stay there and is definitely willing to go back there. As many reviews of Tripadvisor already mentioned, the foods in the resort were fantastic. Grandparents, me and my husband, and our children (5 & 3 years old) all waited for the next meal time to taste something new and joyful. We had a boat trip to Mangroves which was very next to the resort which didn't cost a lot but...
"I loved the stay, the veranda with sea view was great. We had some trouble finding hot water and what was called a swimmingpool was a joke. But everyone was kind, breakfastplace calm and friendly, and the fruit and food was great.
I would rather stay at Aluna than in the more posh part of the city."
"We honeymoon’ed at My Blue Hotel for 6 days and loved it! The hotel property is beautiful and clean. We chose the half board option, and really enjoyed the breakfast provided by the hotel. There are also several nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner that are walking distance.
Furthermore, the staff were lovely. We had a smooth check in and check out experience and the cleaning staff left cute designs with towels and flowers on our bed for our honeymoon.

The beachfront villas are wonderful, We didn't like the constant hassling of vendors that came by the border of the property, but the hotel security guard was always there. Every afternoon the. beachfront was full of local youngsters playing soccer, what blocked your access to the beach. Overall highly recommend it, great place to rest and observe the local village...

Dejligt afslappende, lidt længere væk fra hovedvejen, så man kan slappe af og nyde ferien.
Hotellet er gode til at arrangere ture og kender de lokale, så man får ordentlige priser, der er væsentligt lavere end turistpriserne.

"The hotel is not glamorous and amenity wise it is what you would expect of a midrange hotel. However it has a perfect location right on the beach and easy access to local tours and attractions. It is very clean and well maintained.
