It was a scruffy motel that had no hot water, the bed was hard as rocks, the staff was rude and demanded to photocopy photo drivers license and photo id of 2nd guest.

They take a copy of each person checking in. There was not even a coffee pot in the room.

There was bed bugs and bugs all over. The windows were broken the lights were hanging from the ceiling and the place smelt soggy and wet. The bed closest to the window was soaking wet and it was filthy

I would not recommend this Motel to anyone! Poor lighting with disconnected wires hanging all over the room. TV not working. No coffee machine. Fridge and MW but no mugs or utensils. Bathroom miniscule and stained. Bed okay and sheets were clean!

There were containers filled with cigarette butts at every door. The night stand in our room was falling apart. The curtains did not completely cover the windows. The bed was only a very hard mattress and low. The bar fridge was broken on one corner. When showering the outside floor became very wet.

The pictures on the web site are not the rooms, at least are wasn’t, Had to use a bulldog paper clip to keep the drapes closed in the centre.. I used the old duck tape still stuck on the window moulding to keep the drape closed.

The staff were professional & friendly The outside of the property looks dumpy and unclean. There is old furniture sitting outside and cans of cigarettes. The room seemed cleaned but it smelt very Smokey. I would not go back. We arrived late and there was a security guard outside which made me feel more safe but then question what happens at night fir them to have a security guard..

As I drove into the parking lot a man began walking toward my vehicle, I parked near the office to check in and this man confronted me before I could open my car door. He did not introduce himself, just demanded my identification and told me I could not park at the motel. Eventually, I figured out that he is a security guard hired by the motel to stop locals from parking, being picked up by friends, and not returning until early morning. This was not immediately explained to me and either way, my car has Ontario plates and I had a suitcase in my hand. I did have to provide my name and license number to this security person before I could enter the office, I was not welcomed or greeted, this was a bad start and a sign of things to come. The room smelled bad, the floors were dirty, the walls were covered in dust and stains, the fridge smelled worse than the room, even the ceiling was dirty. It is a roadside motel so my expectations were realistically low, I stay at many of these, but this wasn’t at all cheap given the conditions, and there’s no reasonable excuse for not cleaning your rooms. The bedding was clean at least but I would be surprised if there aren’t bed bug issues given the dirt and the wooden frame. To top off my stay, the next door neighbours blared loud, tasteless music through thin walls and smoked outside my door all night. The security guard did not intervene. Zero stars, won’t go back.

One night pit stop
It was what it is. A 60ies dated motel with a hodgepodge of furnishings. It certainly requires capital reinvestment. I don’t think I would stay the again. Reminded me of Bates Motel. The check in went well. The pictures must have been taken a few years ago. You get what you pay for.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! It’s very dirty and unsafe. The staff walked in on me while I was changing without knocking. When they came in they said “oh we thought you went out”. Then had an excuse saying they were checking the heater to make sure it works. Which the heater never worked. Also they took a photo copy of my drivers license and pretty sure they will do something bad with it because they seem very not trust worthy. I recommend spending the extra money and stay somewhere else. The cleanliness issues were the bathroom grout needs to be redone or they need to get some bleach and scrub. It had hair on the walls, the shower curtain looks like it has never been washed. The mini fridges needs to be cleaned. Another issue is it had limited plugs to plug anything in.

There are one options for 0 ⭐️ The room was some much dirty and dusty they didn’t clean blankets and pillows I told the hotel manger to clean or give me money back at the check in time but they are rude government should suspend the license and shutdown the motel and take action on them I received to not even think about this motel

You get what you pay for. $99 per night is what this rental is worth. There were no extra pillows. The bathroom is very small. But the TV was great. The young man at the front desk was very friendly & efficient. The overall rating is no better than average.
