"OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. "Stayed here while going to a friends wedding in the local area. Created to really friendly staff and check in was a breeze. The room was compact but had everything we needed, comfy bed and even a little hamper with slippers, teas coffee and milk.
Hotel is above a pub though there’s a separate entrance so coming and going was easy.
Would recommend if you’re near by."

"Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!)
We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty.
Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked.
Would definitely recommend if you are staying on the Isle...
"Regular visitor and love the spacious and individuality of the rooms. It also means we can stay without having to have an accessibility room as have walk in shower and plenty of room for walkers etc. Service always exceptional and go the extra mile. Food is also delicious! Great area to walk the dog."

"Loveley size room but very dated. Bathroom was very shabby. Enjoyed sitting by the lake having a drink. Loverly hotel by the lake but in massive need of updating."
