The good parts: The area is lovely and you are close to incredible hiking, water falls, bike trails (Ohiopyle is about a 15 minutes drive)
The outdoor area of this property is really nice - hot tub, fire pit, picnic table with outdoor lighting so we had some nice evenings
There are two nice balconies, perfect for eating breakfast on and listening to the crickets at night
The bad parts: The property manager wouldn't to respond to my emails - I couldn't get the DVD player to work, and despite multiple emails, I only heard back once, asking if it had magically fixed itself; um, no it never did; overall not a big deal, but come on!
There is a $50 "linen service" - but even if you pay it (it was built in to the VRBO fee), they don't actually make the beds for you - they just give you a pile of sheets; so you will spend the first day of your trip making beds
The place itself is a bit dark and dingy
You are not actually that remote - you will hear a lot of cars and trucks driving by at all hours
We ended up having a nice trip, and I would have posted a better review had the property managers been even remotely responsive
