Its so close to Galle fort by tuktuk it takes only 230 rupees. Also staff were really really helpful, kind and caring. I had injury on my foot. They were really careful about this. "The best place to stay. This is boutique accommodation on a quiet street, a short drive to the main attractions. I loved being surrounded by nature in the pool, seeing beautiful birds and monkeys in the trees, bats and fireflies at night. Staying here was the highlight of our time in Galle. The rooms are large, very clean, with comfortable beds. Our host made us the most superb breakfast each morning. They were helpful with information about things to do and transportation, they also offered...

"Wat een heerlijke plek om onze reis door Sri Lanka af te sluiten! De kamers zijn prachtig, het ontbijt is lekker en het heerlijke zwembad maakt het helemaal af! We hebben bij het hotel een massage geboekt op onze laatste dag, dit was goed stevig maar ook lekker. Het hotel zit op ongv. 15 minuten met de tuktuk van de strandjes/restaurants, maar dat wisten we van te voren en vonden wij met het heerlijke zwembad helemaal niet erg. "

"At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there."
