Ulvik is also home to Norway's only fruit and cider route, where you can visit farms, taste local cider and learn more about fruit growing in Hardanger. Shops, restaurants and a playground are all within walking distance. The fjord offers good fishing from the shore. Just outside the centre there is also a sports field and a recreation area with a sandy beach and barbecue hut. The surrounding area offers many hiking opportunities. You can also take a trip to Voss with its many leisure activities and a wide range of shops in the pedestrianised area.
