"Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Perfect for a stopover and pleased with separate proper beds for the kids. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening. The service was excellent. The waitress went above and beyond to accommodate our large group sorting us out with our own area and even sorting us out with another meal when a member of the group ordered the wrong meal. Great restaurant and rooms in a brilliant location just a few minutes from the beach ."

"We stayed for 3 nights and found our stay to be excellent. The setting is beside the golf course and the grounds are immaculate. Service at the guest house could not be faulted, the breakfast, included in the price, was plentiful and served to your table. Our room was quite small but well provided and tastefully decorated. "The owners are very friendly and helpful, and are also very nice people. Everything is spotless. Beds are very comfortable and warm. Breakfast is really excellent. "We had such a lovely 2 night stay here! The lodge was in pristine condition, with all necessities like tea, coffee, milk. The hot tub was ready for us to get in. There were plenty of useful extras like iron, travel cot, hairdryers, plenty of toilet rolls. There was an en-suite with shower and a family bathroom too. "The lodge and location was outstanding. Situated on Heron Lakes looking across one of the 6 lakes on site with stunning views. Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again.
