"Wonderful cottage with all the kitchen items you need - toaster, oven, stove, coffee maker, kettle, fridge. Comfortable beds and linens, very quiet - out in the country, 20 minute drive to town (Selfoss) for groceries, restaurants, etc. The 2 family dogs are lovely. Communication was good, and no issues at check-in. Not far away from the Golden Circle route. Would highly recommend."

"We loved our trip to Iceland, the stay at Kerbyggd really was the icing on the cake. Exceptionally clean, modern houses with everything you need for a self catering stay. The host was super responsive and sent delivered more wood for us quickly. The town of Selfoss is 5-6 kilometers and has nice dining options. "This unique building has very high quality furniture, bedding, and towels. Even robes are provided. The hot tub in the back yard is a highlight. Lots of windows let in the epic Icelandic landscape. When the wind pics up you feel cozy and comfortable with every convenience. There is a full sized washer AND dryer (great for families). The gas station is a 10 minute walk away and has all the basic groceries you need along with a small diner. If you are in the area, this is a great place to stay. "

"We loved our stay in this modern, comfortable cabin. There were seven of us, and we had plenty of space. The 3 teens enjoyed sharing a bunk bed room. We all really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Because the weather was pretty warm, we were also able to spend time relaxing in the outdoor area. Communication was great. Checking in and out was very easy. Would totally stay here again!!"

"This was a great place to stay. We had our family, 10 of us, and we all enjoyed ourselves. Out of 5 places we stayed this was the kids favorite. Plenty of room and great hot tub.
