"Clean well presented accommodation, check was easy and well communicated, parking was easy to find with the addition of photos to help. Good location and pet friendly, close to town with a few steep steps but you quickly get used to that. "The rooms are quite dated, the majority of the pictures shown are for the first floor rooms while the ground floor rooms are lot more dated and feel like the disparity is quite big. The room itself has two bathrooms and the ensuite had a very foul smell when we first entered and the second bathroom had a damp odour to it. The ensuite smell went away after the first night, but the second bathroom smells got worse over time as the ventilator was not working which we mentioned to the property...

"If you want complete peace and quiet time to think and read, then this rural corner of Cornwall is for you. The cottage is very comfortable and the private grounds provide an easy short stroll by the river for us older ones. "Helen and Paul must be two of the nicest and kindest hosts we've met.
After a 6 hour drive, to arrive to a cream tea laid out in the apartment was truly a lovely touch.
One of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, they'd literally thought of everything you could need. You name it, it was there, potato peeler, sieve, cling film, foil the works.
Helen even asked me what milk we drink and made sure there was a pint of semi skimmed in the fridge on arrival.. Thanks Helen.

"one of the best self catering i have stayed at on the outskirts of Bodmin for a Winter break this is an ideal please for touring Cornwall, for anyone wanting to set up base to sea fish or fishing in general i have one minor gripe No central heating in the property, but there are electric radiators and extra blow heaters There is a log burner that does kick out a lot of warmth, for the very cold nights, I will return later in the year"
