Savannah Beach and Racquet Club is a beautiful place to visit. It is a very quiet complex that is gated and has controlled beach access. The condo sits on the quiet side of the complex on the east side. Watch the sun rise from your private balcony. Sit on your sofa and view the water with the large ships going in and out of Savannah. Walk a very short walk to private pier and watch the most beautiful sunset anywhere.

Cocksper light house is in view along with Hilton Head and Daufuskie Island. See the lights at night from balcony or dock. Condo has been updated recently, very clean and comfy. You will fall in love with the whole island. You can reach me or my private housekeeper any time. Shopping ahead of time is available for a nominal fee. Arrive with your food and drinks already there.

Overall all this is a nice place to stay for a few nights. The main downside was Check in was not easy and continued to be difficult for several hours. Instructions sent via the app were not complete, and had conflicting instructions with some information obsolete. Unfortunately the owner did not respond promptly to me or VRBO, but eventually it was fixed. The property was as described and plenty for our small family of 3. The decor is very cute and our 2yo enjoyed it very much. The pool and beach is very conveniently located in relation to the condo. Parking was also convenient. I would recommend thoroughly going through check in instructions prior to actually arriving at the property to give ample time to work out kinks, because other than that you will enjoy your time here.
The beach is great for toddlers since it’s not in open waters. Waves are similar to a lake.

We had a wonderful experience! The condo was only about a 25-30 minute drive from Savannah and 5-10 minutes from anything in Tybee Island, making it an ideal location to stay. It’s within walking distance of Tybean Coffee Bar and cute shops. The check-in and check-out process was very easy. The room was clean and the complex was quiet, making it a peaceful getaway. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, but other than that it was an amazing place to stay!

Great beach access and good proximity to local shops and restaurants in North Beach. Room was very clean and had lots of amenities. Second floor room which was convenient since there is no elevator. Host was a great communicator and helped us with an issue promptly. Would definitely stay there again. Even though this was a condo, there was plenty of toilet paper, soaps and shampoo, towels, etc. provided so that we didn't have to buy anything while there. One of the best amenities was the balcony which was spacious and you could see the large cargo ships go by which was cool.

The condo was perfect for my sister and I for our getaway. Exactly as described very cute, very short walk to beach and pool. We enjoyed watching the container ships go by and especially the dolphins from our balcony. You can't actually see the beach but the water easy view. You have to get a card/key from a box which I think was for the gate but the gate was open so that confused me but that was easily operator error(me) after a long drive. Laura was amazing to communicate with. Beach very quiet and great location away from busy downtown area which was an easy drive to get to. Condo even had beach chairs which was great. Ice maker. All the kitchen necessities. Wifi. One flight of stairs, no elevator that we saw but that didn't matter to us. Laundry room right around the corner of our condo which could be helpful for a longer stay. Would definitely love to visit again

Awesome accommodations. Retired Marine and the first vacation in a while. Was very clean and everything I needed. Host was very responsive in just checking on my stay. Honestly 2 minute walk to the beach and 1 minute walk to the pool. The balcony is where I spent most of my time just looking at the view. Took binoculars and got to watch dolphins out in the water. Eyesight isn’t great. Hopefully I’ll be back soon!!!

Wonderful condo - on the deck we could see the Savannah River and ocean. Loved watching the large ships pass by. Also loved eating on the deck - weather was cool enough. Condo was clean, leather sofa was very comfy. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The caretaker(?) of the condo - I think Laura Coleman - was super nice and always available.

Loved it!

This was a perfect place for our vacation! The facilities around the condo and inside the condo itself were very clean. It also felt like a safe location with lots of kind people around. We enjoyed seeing the dolphins from our balcony SEVERAL times. The private pool and beach were lovely. The rest of the island was amazing as well! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the space and the location. It’s a bit cramped, especially with young children, but we didn’t necessarily plan on spending tons of time in the condo anyway. It was mostly clean (the floor was dirty, but I probably wouldn’t have noticed if we hadn’t had a crawling baby) and otherwise perfect. The proximity to a beautiful beach was perfect and we had an amazing time as a family. However, the owner did not respond to some concerns that came up in a timely manner, leading to our earlier than planned departure. She had said to reach out if we had any questions or concerns, but when I messaged and called multiple times that night I did not receive a reply until late the next afternoon, and we needed to make a decision before that. We were disappointed to end our weekend early, but it was the best decision for our family with a lack of timely response. That being said, we did like the unit and I would consider booking again.

Perfect for our family of 3. I spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the dolphins. We saw so many dolphins and ships. We enjoyed the short walk to the private beach entrance, which made it easy for us to visit the beach everyday while we were there. I highly recommend staying here if, especially if you want something a bit more quiet than the south end of the island.

Great spot

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped. There are a lot of extra towels and blankets. It's on the 2nd floor but the stairs have "rubber" treads - no fear of slipping. There is not laundry inside the unit but there is laundry on site. The walk to the water is a boardwalk. The property is on the river side of the island where the waves are mild and so are the crowds. I have no complaints at all about this property and would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is very nice. It's close to the pool and parking lot by accessing the stairs. Our hiccups had nothing to do with the owner but were more building related. The only elevator is located on the other end of the complex and is difficult to find because it is on the other side of double doors. After a quick call to the owner we found it and were able to get to our room. We then had an issue getting the door unlocked but another quick call to the owner got us back on track. The person responsible for housekeeping did a terrible job in the bathroom. The toilet was nasty with splatters inside the bowl. A dirty hand towel was found inside the drawer of the sink with makeup on it. Again, out of the control of the owner. This condo is small but had plenty of room for the 3 of us. It was stocked with several necessities like salt, pepper, coffee filters and such which I'm sure were left behind by previous tenants. We also made use of the beach chairs, umbrella (it's broken but still works), and toys, and pool toys from the closet. This was a very nice stay and memories were made that will last a lifetime.

Cozy but small

The place was nice and clean but it was not made for four adults. A couple could stay in there comfortably, but our adult children had to sleep on couch and floor. Not big enough for four people.

Condo was very clean and great access to the beach! Only downside, the mattress needs replaced in the bedroom due to being very uncomfortable, you can feel the springs. Me and my husband did not sleep well due to this. Also there were no sheets for the air mattress.
