COTTAGE WITH PRIVATE POOL TWO BLOCKS TO BEACH

Please note we have fall and winter discounts for fall and winter stays 7 days to a month long.

This is truly a special place to create some great memories. The charm of a vintage cottage by the sea is complemented with a modern kitchen and baths.

Restored 1940’s Tybee Island cottage offers three bedrooms and three full baths and two outdoor showers. The open living, dining, and kitchen on the first floor offer a cozy gathering space. The screen porch out front fits perfectly into the idealistic summer at the beach. Outback the in-ground saltwater pool offers the perfect retreat from a day at the beach. Enjoy grilling and dining on the patio and sunbathing on the roof deck accessed by an outdoor spiral stair. In colder seasons you may choose the option to heat the pool. We have a propane pool heater that can be used for a $65 per day fee to heat the pool to 88 degrees when temperatures are 65 degrees or more. Fuel costs require a charge of $85per day during lower temperatures. Use of the solor cover when the pool is not being used is critical in helping keep these rates and maintaining the pool temperature. Please communicate in advance if you want to use this option as an additional payment will be needed.

We only have our cottage available through VRBO and their partners. If you happen upon our home on a different rental platform please know it may not be a valid offering.

The home is about 1,100 sq ft and maximizes the use of each space. This is truly a cottage home with details including cypress wood walls, pine floors, exposed joist and wood ceilings. The kitchen brings in a modern touch with stainless architectural appliances contrasted by bracketed cabinetry and a farm sink.

The shed is stocked with beach chairs and bikes for your use. The driveway can park 3 cars

Please note this is a no smoking and no pet property

While our cottage can sleep up to 8 people our rates are based on a 6 person occupancy. Guests beyond 6 will have an additional guest fee.

This beautiful cottage is just as it looks. I stayed here with my older parents and we all loved it. The home has even more amenities than listed. It's a great location and had an easy time visiting Savannah and staying on Tybee when we wanted to relax. A couple of pool issues arose and Erik was always communicative & prompt with follow up. The home was very clean.

Cottage is adorable! Front screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and the backyard was a little slice of heaven with the outdoor furniture and private pool! First time in Tybee

This house is exactly as described and extremely clean. Every detail has been thought of including two outside showers! The location is excellent with plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. The bikes and beach chairs are a nice amenity. We spent a lot of time in the pool during hot afternoons. We can't wait to visit Tybee again!

Great for Family with Older Children

We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage on Tybee Island! The home had everything we needed and more—thoughtfully stocked and beautifully maintained. The heated pool was a huge bonus and made for perfect evenings, even with the cooler spring temps.The location is ideal—just a short walk to the beach and close to plenty of great restaurants. One thing to note is that the guest suite is separate from the main house and requires you to go outside to access it. This wasn’t an issue for us since we were traveling with older kids, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during colder weather or with young children. That said, the setup would be perfect if you’re vacationing with a grandparent or another adult who wants a bit more privacy.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful house!

The house is so charming! Very clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful week. Short walk to the closest beach access. Great pool for our needs (2 adults, 1 child). We spent many a relaxing morning on the screened in porch. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Tybee Vacation

Great Tybee getaway with the family. House had a perfect location and offered everything we possibly needed. Loved the bikes, beach chairs, bocce ball set, beach cart and cooler. Fun on the beach even with cooler temperatures. Also loved the heated pool!

Exceptional Property!!!

We have stayed in many VRBO properties all over, this by far was the nicest, cleanest property. Everything you need and more! The home is well maintained and nothing has been skimped on! They house looks small from the outside but they have utilized every inch of space to make it feel very spacious. Would highly recommend! The owners were very helpful, and friendly!

I would give them 10 stars if I could! We come to tybee a couple times a year and this is my favorite stay so far. The hosts are amazing and the communication is great. They have everything you could need at the house. The pool was amazing, the house is beautiful and we had the best time. Definitely stay here!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this stay was! The hosts were EXTREMELY responsive to my inquiries prior to our stay. The arrival was so easy and stress free! We were pleasantly surprised to find welcome snacks and coffee! The hosts have provided everything you could need for a great stay! The location is wonderful! It’s close to everything without being on a busy street! The pool was a huge hit with the kids and the ability to have it heated really made our trip! I would definitely stay here again!!!

Perfect weekend getaway on Tybee

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this property! We rented it for a friend weekend getaway. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. While it was sometimes tricky to get lyfts/ubers around the island, it didn’t take away from our experience. The house itself was stunning and spacious, with plenty of room for the 6 of us to stay comfortably. The pool was a great bonus, and the owners were incredibly responsive and communicative throughout our stay. One thing to note is that two of the twin beds are trundles, which worked well for us but could be helpful to know for future guests. All in all, it was a perfect getaway, and I highly recommend this property- would absolutely stay here again!

One of the best!

Explored Tybee Isalnd for our 10th Anniversary! This is one of the best and cleanest VRBO’s we’ve stayed at. It felt like an old friend or family was hosting us with all the “extras”. Coffee, snacks, lemonade set out for us. Perfect location on Tybee. We loved walking over to the Back River. Quiet area, but again close to everything. Highly recommend. Thanks for the great stay!

Clean, well-maintained, and as-described

We very much enjoyed our stay, despite it being cut short by a hurricane. The location is fantastic; you can easily walk to the beach or the restaurants and bars on the island. We arrived to find the cottage clean and well-maintained. The first night we chose to sleep upstairs, but we quickly learned you're in for a cooler night's sleep with a bigger bathroom in the bedroom off the patio. The house keeps plenty cool -- we just like it absolutely frigid at night. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the needed dishes and cookware, and the standalone ice machine was a nice bonus. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of nice towels available. The beach amenities in the shed were also great to have. The pool was very clean and a great spot to relax after a trip to the beach. You'll find a nice bit of shade at the pool in the late afternoon, but you can always go up to the roof deck if you want to lounge in the sun. The owner's were proactive with communication throughout the trip. They were kind enough to provide a detailed, but long, reference guide to the house that answers just about any question you may have. The guide could use a few minor updates (e.g. there is no longer a recycling pickup), but it was still helpful to have. All in all, minus the hurricane, it was a good trip and a great stay.

Great Little Cottage

We have stayed in a handful of places on Tybee (maybe 8 over the years) and so far this is our favorite. It’s a great little cottage with lots of character. Super clean. Everything works. Lots of little to touches. Nice pool. And, close to everything. No complaints. I would happily recommend this home.

5 Star Beach Stay

This property suited our family just perfectly! The house is a gorgeous and well-maintained OG beach cottage. The pool, the pool cottage (bedroom and full bath), the laundry room and the two outdoor showers gave us a “family compound” vibe. We enjoyed our stay immensley!
