This adorable pink house makes a perfect island get-away for a couple or a solo-traveler. This home features a queen bed, full bathroom, full kitchen as well as a covered porch. This is just 1 1/2 blocks to the beach and a short walk to restaurants & pubs!

THE SPACE
A cute and funky beach get-a-way with fun nautical décor and all amenities included. Situated on the Northern end of the island, you will be just 1 1/2 short blocks to the beach. Less then five minutes ‘till you're planting that umbrella in the sand. Your place is within walking distance to some really fun restaurants and bars.

You will have the best of both worlds. You’ll be staying on the North end of the island where the beaches aren’t crowded but your still so close to all of the fun nightlife. Your about a mile away from the main hot spot Tybrisa Street. Around the corner you’ll find our favorite candy shop Savannah Pralines, the popular restaurant Sundae Cafe and Salt Island Fish & Beer.

The home is completely furnished, including a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, microwave, four-burner stove, oven, blender, coffee maker, and all essential cooking ware (pots, pans, etc. ) Also, it includes all dish and flat ware (utensils, plates, glasses).

The home is on the first floor. There are TWO SMALL UNITS ABOVE which we also VRBO. You may hear footsteps and regular sounds similar to an apartment. Your place is completely private and there are no shared spaces.

Also, please note…The neighbor next door has 2 German Shepherds, they bark on occasion. Not constantly …but you might hear little spurts here and there.

The main bedroom has queen size bed and has a very comfortable mattress. It has a large closet with plenty of room for your luggage and clothes.

The bathroom has an upright shower and all necessary bath, hand and face towels and complimentary soap. If you need more bath towels, we keep extra beneath the sink.

The living room has a comfy sofa, with a 43 inch HDTV that is a smart TV so you can stream all of your apps. The internet and WiFi both have strong signals

Need to do laundry? “Tybee Island Coin Laundry” is just a 3 houses down. The machines take quarters and there is a coin machine.

Tybee Island is a funky, colorful, little island with a lot to do. Dolphin tours, kayak and jet ski rentals, bike paths, the famous Lighthouse, the new Marine Science center, parks with sand volleyball, basketball, pickle ball. Cool bars and restaurants like Hucapoos, Chamaco Tacos, Sundae Cafe, Salt Island Fish & Beer, North Beach Grill and the Quarter Bar & Grill. Probably more things to do then you will have time for but we will provide a little guide book that we have put together over the years that lists activities that we find our guests enjoys the most. We’ve also made a little cheap eats page for the best places to grab some inexpensive good grub.

You will have your own private space and will not be interrupted during your stay.
We will respond quickly, especially if you use the message app, text, email, or call. We would be happy to chat and share info about Tybee and Savannah. Just ask us… We know that most our guests have a filled agenda already, so we tend to leave you to it, unless you reach out to us.

NEIGHBORHOOD

This home is the tucked away on the north end of Tybee Island. The area is quiet and very safe. It is approx. one mile from the main drag "Tybrisa Street". You’ll find that Tybrisa Street has all he attractions: the main Pier (great for fishing) loads of restaurants, pubs and beach shops. Remember, the North side also has its own charm… in that the beaches are generally less crowded, and the restaurants, shops and pubs on the Northside beautifully bring to light the beating heart of Tybee.

Our personal favorite local hang out is “Huca-Poos” (bar, pizza parlor). Try walking to ‘Huca-Poos’ for a lovely experience. Huca-Poos is only 1 mile blocks from the home. This hidden gem is the locals best kept secret. It has a laid-back atmosphere, very hippy/boho, good food and cocktails that won’t break your budget. Amazing prices such as $2 tall-boy PBRs, $5 giant slice of pizza, etc. You’ll definitely get bang-for-your-buck here, and the service is consistently friendly, fast and efficient. They have a relaxing ambiance with quirky fun décor. Plus, they have live bands on the weekends. Huca-Poos fits all types of folks: singles, couples, families and children.


GETTING AROUND

You can practically walk anywhere on Tybee, but other options are renting bikes (there are bike rentals right down the street), or just taking the local taxis for $5pp.

Parking: Pay-for-parking is almost everywhere (your parking at the home is free of course).

The Grocery store IGA is only 1 mile down the road.

Downtown Savannah is less than a 20 minute drive. Guests should spend at least one day in the historic district enjoying riverstreet and all the attractions.oom
