Solitude in Twin....peace and quite on 3 acres just done the road from Bretton Woods, Mt Washington and Cannon Mt.

Ride to snowmobile trails just 1/4 mile away down Little River Rd.
Direct access to snowmobile trials, 1/2 mile down Little River road.

Home on over 3 acres in the heart of the White Mountains. Just minutes to both Cannon Mt and Bretton Woods, Franconia and Crawford Notch(s). Cross country ski, bike or hike right from your front door.
Covered entrance deck allows even more room for enjoying the out of doors. Neighborhood is easily accessible to Route 3 but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Viewing the night sky is an added bonus. Own your own piece of heaven in the White Mountains.

Golf weekend

The locations and proximity to the two courses were perfect as was the convenience to the store and river for swimming. the grill in the garage was a perfect area for area setting up our meals. Great time had by all.

Spent weekend in house we built, our daughters are now adults with families. It was fun returning to relive the past and applaude the changes. Its still a lovely place! Peaceful. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the hospitality. It was comforting to be back home again.

slightly misleading

First, I want to stay the accommodations were fine for the 2 days we were there. However, the listing states that there is a grill. A grill is worthless without gas! When I called owner he said "We don't supply the gas".I had to go get gas so all least the next person had some as well. Also, air hockey game didn't turn on and was cracked on the top, no treadmill, no children toys/games as listed. There were activity books for kids but no crayons or pencils, a deflated basketball for the basketball shoot. In short, it's time to update the listing?

Perfect location

Loved the house set up!! Really good upstairs/downstairs for large families and spaced out. The garage was smelly!! Nice new jacuzzi but not Jacuzzi weather. The air hockey table is old and not functional. Garage needs cleaning/airing out!! Everything else was great!!!

Enough room for everyone

Great, clean house that had plenty of room for 5 adults. We just needed a place to stay the night prior to a backpacking trip in the Whites and this place was perfect. Check in was easy and communication was good. My only gripe is the mandatory additional insurance that we had to purchase.

6 of us stayed - was nice place great location- quiet, plenty of room (we rented whole place) - could use more silverware & kitchen utensils & lighting upstairs (fixtures and bulbs) - serious attention needed for grills (one couldnā€™t use stays on fire inside - -the other only gas 1 burner working) otherwise we enjoyed ourselves

Excellent place to stay!

We went to the White Mountains to go four-wheeling for my son's bachelor weekend. Per the description on the VRBO website, the property was exactly what we needed for our trip. Prior to our arrival, the owners answered our questions and provided suggestions for local restaurants. When we arrived, the property was exactly as described, and it was very clean and tidy. the location is excellent and within easy driving distance to all sorts of outdoor activities and sights. It's also close to Mount Washington. The "game garage" had a hot tub and air hockey table. There were grills and an a fire pit. We had a last second cancellation in our group, so the four bedrooms and sleep sofa was enough for all of us to have our own quiet place to sleep. Our only regret is that we only had one night at the property. It would have been nice to enjoy the amenities offered by the hosts, but that's our loss given our time frames. A quick note - there are some comments that indicate the hosts want you to do a load of towels upon your departure. That is true, and you need to run the load in the washer (it takes 27 minutes) and start them drying before you check out or there is an additional cleaning fee. It's listed right on the "house rules" that are provided upon check-in. All in all, it's a great place to stay and I highly recommend it. We'd definitely like to go back!!

Quick stay near mountains

Three friends and I stayed here one night to get close to hiking locations in the morning. We arrived after dinner and were gone the next morning before 7 AM, so not much time in the house. What we did experience: beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and TV was in good condition with plenty of channel options. I was surprised to see on the house information sheet a note asking for guests (full house rental) to help by washing a load of towels and putting them in dryer - followed by statement saying a $ fee would be added if guests did not. I'm always willing to help out if time permits and expect things like starting dishwasher, and taking out trash, but not assigning a new fee that wasn't disclosed with booking. I did not have time in the morning to run a wash & put in dryer; I hope I am not penalized due to the early timing of our departure.

Enjoyable stay

Our family had a great time at this place. Communication was easy with our hosts and they were very responsive. The living room at the first floor and kitchen is spacious for a family. We had booked the entire place, 2 bbq grills were at our disposable. Although we used one and had a lot of bbq on the terrace! The location is great, on a quiet street. All in all a good experience!
