"We had an amazing time at this property! The view is breathtaking & there was LOTS of beach this year.  Kids loved swimming & the sunsets.  The house has new siding & a new deck on the other side w/ new stairs, which was not shown in the pictures. The new deck is fantastic! Just be aware that there are about 48 steps from the deck to the beach. It was tiring to carry our infant child, but the kids managed just fine. "7 family members and I rented this beautiful home on a high bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. The check in and check out process was seamless. The home was spotless. "We were traveling with my mother who is a senior citizen, the only way to get to the house was a deck elevated 20 steps high, or walk around the back up a step hill. We chose the walk up the hill but if it had been wet I don't know how we would get my mother up because there are no stairs or access for people who aren't strong walkers. Also, Beach Access is stairs about 40 feet down so she couldn't go to the beach"

"The house was right across from the state park. The house was clean. The kitchen was decently stocked with kitchen utensils, etc. The bed in what I will call the master bedroom seemed to fold into the middle when there was two people in it.
