"5 friends seeking a relaxing getaway and we found this little gem. Booking and communication was excellent we had to change our dates at short notice which was no problem. The lodge was beautiful, so many little touches from decor to candles and was very well stocked with everything you could need. The setting is stunning and we really enjoyed the wildlife and our little red squirrel pal who came each day. Would absolutely stay again. "

"Fabulous house in a lovely location, it was perfect for long walks . The house is very roomy with fab decor. Close to a lovely restaurant we we popped in gor drinks and food a few times over the weekend. Will definitely return in the sumner months."

"We had a very relaxing 4 day break in this beautiful stone cottage, a mile off the main road near Hadrians Wall, on a farm that practices environmental care and organic stewardship under the Green Tourism Business scheme. The cottage was very clean and very comfortable with a new shaker modern style kitchen, so very easy to make a simple meal. The bed was super comfortable in a roomy upstairs bedroom. "We loved sitting out on the patio area, watching the goings on around the place, the tv wasn’t on at all. Visited Brampton for some excellent food and loved the Lanercost Priory when we visited there. Miltonrigg woods was just 2 minutes drive for a lovely dog walk as well. Could have done with a parasol on the patio when the sun was strongest but our intention was met for a few days of chilling. The staff were all friendly and we had a lovely breakfast at the cafe on our departure. "

"What a place, accomodation is excellent, plenty of room to be together, but also plenty of room to find some peace and quiet!
