Casuarina Beach House - 100m from the Beach

Casuarina Beach House is located approx. 50 metres from the walking / bicycle track and a further 50 metres walk on a path through nature reserve onto the Beach. It is located in a "No Through Road" which makes it very quiet. The original developers chose to build their own homes in our street due to its prime location.

At Casuarina Beach House begin every day with a dip in your private pool or the ocean. Spend an hour or two reading a book on your sun lounge before walking or cycling to nearby Cabarita or Kingscliff for lunch.

This is a house to holiday with friends, family and children. It is not available for parties, weddings or 'Schoolies'.

Things to do and how to get there

Casuarina Beach House is very central in Casuarina on Collins Lane the beach road.
Bike hire is at Cabarita Cycles. There is 3.5 km of walk/bike path at Casuarina, this continues on for a further 26 km.
Casuarina Gym & Rec. Club with heated training pool and full size pool (2 minutes walk away). Individual or group training (i.e Gym, yoga, Pilates, boxing etc.). Massage also available.
Bar & Restaurant & corner store adjacent to the Gym
Coles and speciality shops located approx. 1 klm from house
Casuarina Beach - 3.5km of untouched beautiful beaches, great for surfing, fishing or just lovely long walks !
'Surfing Australia' are based at Casuarina, (Beginners to Intermediate). Learn to surf on holiday at the Tweed Coast,
Beach fishing walk down beach track in front of house
Surf life savers are in attendance in the school holidays & on summer weekends. The patrolled beach is approx. 150 metres north.

Friends and Family Weekend

The property was perfect for us. The layout of the house and amenities suited the varied age range of our group from toddlers, teens and adults with a space for everyone. We hope to visit again.

Great place to stay!

We stayed here to attend a wedding at Osteria around the corner. Turned out to be a great choice. Walking distance to the wedding, close to the beach, quiet location and a great house well laid out for the group of six in our party. Would definitely recommend to others and we will return for another stay at some point, preferably is summer when we can use the pool.

Wedding Splendour

We came for our daughter’s wedding at Osteria. It was a 3 min drive or 8 min walk. Amazing location. Beach just across the road down the path . There was so much space in the home - and it felt like a home. We will have amazing memories from this trip and we are already planning another family trip so we can return .

Perfect For Us

We were a group of friends there for Bluesfest. Have used the house before and it's exactly what we want. Clean, good amenities, well stocked pantry, every useful kitchen item. Close to the local shops, walks, beach. Two thumbs up.

Long weekend at Casuarina

We had a lovely stay at the house. It was comfortable and clean, with a well stocked kitchen (utensils). My family enjoyed swimming in the pool the most. We had the bad luck of coming while construction and renovation works were happening but that’s not anything the owner can help.

Everything & more

An absolutely perfect family holiday! We spent 3 nights at Casuarina and enjoyed every minute. The house is in a perfect location to the bike & walking tracks, beach and short walk to great coffee and a fabulous tasty Mexican restaurant. Our family of 8 including grand parents, kids and grandchildren loved the pool and deck areas and the house had absolutely everything a family could ever need while on holidays (even Lego lol). With the most well equipped kitchen you could ever hope for. Thank you for sharing your property with us :)

Very Enjoyable Holiday

John's beach house was very comfortable and functional. Nice pool and BBQ deck. It has all that you could ask for, including a garage stocked full of great family stuff. The surrounding area is also very nice, and it is a very short walk to an amazing beach. The neighbours are very friendly and John was a very accommodating host.

The ultimate Accommodation provided for a holiday

A holiday long time coming and the premises we stayed in allowed us to relax, enjoy our time away from the stresses of everyday life. It was also a great property for family and friends to meet n greet with social interaction from isolation for the past 2 years so very cool. The place was well located and extremely quite area to reside in. Really well positioned for travel either north or south for day trips yet with everything provided why would you want to leave!!!! Would we book and stay again?? :- Absolutely!!!! To the owners of the property a heartfelt congratulations on the property and as it has been put it is "Superbly Comfortable" Thank you for the opportunity really appreciated

Amazing stay

We just returned from an amazing ten night stay at this property. It had everything that we needed and lots of space to spread out as a family. The location was A1. Everything went smoothly from requesting a price, to booking and paying. We were given very thorough details about checking in and about the house itself. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house to anyone travelling to the area. Hope to be back soon.

Excellent setup and facilities

This was a great property for extended family. The facilities were terrific and everything you could need was available plus more. We enjoyed the multiple entertainment spaces which catered well for a large group but also allowed for private time. Everyone was impressed by the quality of the accommodation. Sadly we weren’t able to use the pool due to weather but it looked inviting. The owners were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure our stay went well. The only thing I noticed that would have been nice would have been a small handrail in the toilet for my elderly mother but due to the steps it wouldn’t be a problem for most people choosing to stay. I highly recommend the property.

Beautiful house and location - pity about the security camera watching you

Great property with all you could need for a family holiday. However, the presence of an undisclosed (until we arrived at the property) audio and visual security camera (Arlo brand) on the main balcony reduces the rating. We would never have stayed at this house had we known about this camera before arrival. It made it very disconcerting and uncomfortable to be on the balcony - where, ordinarily you would spend most of your time in this house. Very disappointed with the prior non disclosure and the constant threat of our private conversations being observed/listened to and/or recorded at any time. Unfortunately and sadly this camera ruined the atmosphere and our quiet enjoyment of the property.

Wonderful beach house in perfect location

Amazing, clean and well equipped beach house in a great location. A perfect house for families, with 2 living spaces and a spacious deck and entertainers patio overlooking the pool. The home has everything you could want for your stay, including surf boards, boogie boards, sporting equipment and bikes. A short walk to the beach. Close proximity to supermarket. We will definitely be back!

House was amazing and host was lovely but neighbor was disgusting. Got noise complaints every night

We followed rules going inside off the deck at 10.30 pm with all doors and windows closed, just having a few drinks with no music or banter and still got a complaint from the neighbor. We are not teens and saved for a friends wedding and getaway only to have it spoilt by people who need to get a life. In saying that, our hosts were lovely people who have to put up with late night phonecalls by nosey neighbors.

Beautiful private beach house

Excellent location close to beach in very quiet street but still walking distance to shops, restaurants & cafes. Gorgeous private pool & gardens, house has glorious upstairs balcony & lovely downstairs alfresco area beside the pool. The home is so well set out with the master suite upstairs & all other bedrooms downstairs. There are two separate lounge rooms, an absolute bonus with more than enough space for the whole family to relax together or separately. Everything is provided including so many extras! There is a brilliant kitchen & laundry that are fully set-up with bonus supplies & high quality appliances. So much entertainment with Foxtel, DVD selection, books, games, bikes, wifi, multiple TV’s & so much more! We loved having access to an automated lock up garage too. The hosts were so helpful with wonderful communication & information supplied. Totally recommend!!

Fantastic Christmas break

We were all blown away with this beautiful property. Everything you could want in a house was supplied. We had plenty of space for 2 families of 4. The pool area is amazing and the beach is only a few minutes away by foot. There is a supermarket within walking distance as well as cafes and a restaurant. Thanks very much John for the wonderful stay and we all would love to return.
