"The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. There is no wifi or phone signal but was worth it to disconnect and enjoy the scenery. Beds were closer to a full than a queen, so a bit snug, but check in and check out was very easy. The entry bridge was spooky to drive over but had no problems. Gorgeous property and loved our stay!"

"We stayed here for a short ski trip to Hatley Pointe. Easy drive down to the slopes. We also made a daytrip to Ashville, which was convenient. It snowed a few inches while were there and the view was great. The hottub was also very relaxing."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Get-Away Mountain Cabin. Although the trip up the mountain is only for the more adventurous, the view was nothing short of spectacular. It was like a beautifully painted picture. The cabin itself had everything that you need to enjoy your stay and it is all well marked. Just be sure that you are driving a 4WD or AWD vehicle to enjoy the drive. "

"The house is beautiful and was fully stocked with toiletries and kitchen items that I have not previously seen in rental homes. Plenty of room for our family. We enjoyed the pool table, video games, and board games. The views are stunning. The biggest downside was parking for 4 vehicles. I would stay here again, but not in the winter because of the drive in / out. "

"Beautiful location, and hosts Chuck and Valda go above and beyond. The cabin was clean, and the kitchen had everything you could ever need for cooking! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation. Our 2 dogs loved running around, and playing in the creek, and even made friends with the resident dog! The property has so much history - and I'm sure we only scratched the surface! We will definitely be back. "

"This property is very very nice. It was well stocked and there was excellent attention to detail not seen in other rentals. Beds and bedding were great! Kitchen was in like new condition along with the spotless appliances. The road up to the house is a little challenging if you are not used to driving one lane dirt roads in the mountains, but we would definitely stay here again. The views from the front deck are amazing. "
