We booked this room for 3 people, 2 queen Beds. When we arrived, some sketchy guys in the parking lot stared at us until we went inside. The room smells of mildew and had recent water stains on the ceiling. Only had 2 towels and no wash cloths for bathing. 1/4 roll of toilet paper and no extra. There wasn't a coffee pot in the room, and the pillows were terrible. The one bed popped everytime you turned over. 2 thin sheets only on the beds. I worried all night long that our vehicle would be gone when we woke up. I won't be back!

So many great amenities, it’s hard to know where to begin. Our visit started with the ear-splitting shrill of the alarm clock going off to help guide us to our room. When we opened the door, we were greeted with the chill of 63-degree air-conditioning, which was great because we did not need to refrigerate our food. Having every pillow labeled “firm” saved us the mental fatigue of having to decide which one to use. The room was tastefully decorated with wires and plugs from where the smoke detector was removed from the wall. Taking a shower was fun as we searched for the perfect temperature between “too hot” and “scalding.” And finally, we finished the visit with an exciting adventure game of “where’s the toilet paper?” Seriously, it was clean, but other than that the place was very poorly maintained.

When we entered the property the first thing we noticed was the smell and the terrible upkeep. The elevator smelled awful, and had sticky areas that you could tell weren’t being cleaned. Upon entering the room, we noticed the ironing board was old, nasty and dented. The chair was peeling, and had dark spots on it. We requested to be moved to a different room. Our second room was worse, sadly. This room had a bed that was barely made, the floor was sticky, could tell it wasn’t clean. The chair and ironing board was the same as the previous room. Upon entering the bathroom, it was disgusting. I had to clean it myself, as it was late and I didn’t feel like moving or causing a fuss. There was body hair in the tub almost like someone shaved in there and the housekeeper didn’t clean the tub. The sheets were dirty, spots all over the pillowcases, and dry blood under the sheets. This hotel is poorly kept, I do not recommend staying in this hotel. My fiancé and I had to stay at this hotel for last minute booking, but we will not be coming back, nor will we seek to stay at another Red Roof Hotel.

I did not like the fact that even though we had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door someone came into our room and dumped the trash and took my much needed eye drops from the bedside. The staff at this property were all wonderfully kind and helpful. I only have positive things to say about those working the front desk and the breakfast area! Kudos to them! Unfortunately, the property itself is in need of some TLC. The pillows were stained and awful. (The staff did provide different, slightly better ones promptly upon request!) The chair was ripped, paint was peeling and there was some mold around the baseboards of my room. Therefore my allergies kicked in and it was not extremely pleasant. I was also allergic to whatever cleaning agent they use so my eyes were not super comfy! Furthermore, both machines in the fitness room were broken/out of order/would not turn on. The sheets were clean and most hotels I could afford were booked so I stayed 2 of the 3 nights I had reserved.

Could be a Great Hotel But…
Hotel is not awful but definitely not the best. We had little roaches in our room on last night of stay. Room wasn’t cleaned properly when we arrived had crumbs on the floor & all fixtures were unplugged. Bed sheets were dirty and bathroom had stains on the floor. We toughed it out hoping room would be in better condition the next day. However, that did not happen. Maid service simply took our cover and somewhat made up the bed and placed the pillows on the bed. Floor and bathroom was not cleaned once again. So we cleaned it. We bought disinfectant spray, and made the best of our trip. I feel this hotel could be great if they would focus on cleaning and getting rid of the bugs.

Won’t be returning .
Cons- Stayed here for a night, chose this hotel since we used it in the past and had a good experience. However, this time was different. Got to the room, whole hallway smelt like pot, had holes in our room that were poorly patched in the ceiling. Deciding to go down to the front desk to request another room due to the smell/damage. We were put on another level, ceilings in hallway were caving from water damage. Room was not much better- floors were very sticky, shower had black handprints on the wall, hair dryer did not work (wasn’t really worried about that part but still sucked) Pro- hotel staff is friendly, breakfast was good. Won’t be returning for next stay

Easy check in. The first room I was given hadn't been cleaned from the prior visitors but the lady at the front desk quickly found me another room. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. Would have been nice if the wifi was secured (no password required to use it) as I had some personal business to do online. Breakfast was very good. And check out was easy.

The room is not ready when we enter the room. The 2nd room has bed sheets from the previous guest with disgust stains on pillow cases. The final room has no toiletry. Walkable to the Cracker Barrel. Quiet location. The bedding and pillows were worn out. The heater didn’t work and the smoke smell from the hallway came in our room periodically. The breakfast was well attended including fresh baked biscuits.

Very nice. Great check in. Room clean. Bed was comfy. Room needed some chairs. There was only a rolling desk chair. Always need more toeels. Breakfast was great. REAL FOOD and even better when it's breakfast in bed! it was very quiet and pleasant stay

I was very disappointed with this location, as the reviews seemed quite good. I asked if it was possible to be as close to ground level as possible, as I have an aversion to elevators. I was told the only room was on the 5th (top) floor, which I accepted. I had to switch rooms within moments of arrival. Walking up to the first room, the door was jammed open with a coat hanger, which I have never seen before. The floors were sticky. Some of the cabinets were open and everything was unplugged, all of which was weird but manageable… maybe the cleaner just hadn’t wrapped up? I inspected the bed, as I do at every place I stay, and immediately noticed old, brown stains on the bed cover and top sheet. Pulled back the pillows and found several HARD, WHITE stains right at head level. I think we all know. Immediately went to change rooms and on my way out, saw a roach scuttling across the bathroom floor. Just all ick. I wanted to leave but they don’t accept refunds, so I accepted another room… which was on the 2nd floor (remember how I requested to be close to ground level in the first place?) The second room was fine, but I just felt gross because of the first room experience. The location was also not ideal… seemed a tad on the shady side, tucked away from the main road and surrounded by empty lots/trees. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, as Red Roof is usually pretty good, but I definitely felt ripped off for $80. Would not go back.

Definitely the worst place we stayed on our week long pre-Christmas trip thru NC, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. There were food remnants in the elevator and a strong food smell there in the morning. Our first room had a high pitched noise coming from the heater/AC unit. The hallways were not swept and our replacement room was not very clean. Will not be staying here again, ever.

Once again, Gina was exceptional and took care of me, definitely satisfied!! It's nice to know that when I am in town I know that if I give Gina a call ahead of time for my stay, she will take care of the rest with no worries!! I even had my guest's brag on her as well!! This is most definitely going to be my home away from home!!!!!
