Apartment Manala 1 and 2 are located in the same building.🅿️Turckheim has numerous parking spaces in the city center and on the outskirts of the city center. ⛔ The courtyard allows access to garages and a house, we ask you not to park there. 🧳 You can stay there while you drop off your suitcases.The Neighborhood:🏰 To get to your accommodation, you will have to go through the main gate of the city (Porte de France). This gate tower from 1315 is the oldest in the city. It was through this door that commerce passed. This door leads to Place Turenne, the city's main square.Once you have passed through the city gate, you can discover the heart of the city, notably its Guardhouse. Built around 1580, this beautiful sandstone and plaster building had a dual use: guild stove (association) and warehouse. The bell was used to call the citizens to gather. The building now houses the tourist office. In front, a beautiful 18th century fountain, topped with a Virgin and Child.In the street of your accommodation (rue du Conseil), are some of the most beautiful buildings in the city, such as the Auberge aux Deux Clefs dating from 1620 in sandstone and half-timbering, which was reserved for distinguished guests of the city. Very beautiful oriel window in carved wood or the Town Hall, a gabled Renaissance building from the end of the 16th century. The ground floor once housed a cellar and a press.House Rule:🚭 This house is non-smoking. This includes changing bed linen, general cleaning of the apartment and bathrooms.🧹 However, it is your responsibility to clean and put away the dishes, take out the trash, empty the refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave as well as tidy up inside the apartment. If you do not want to take care of this, you can order a supplement called “full cleaning” of the apartment for 30 euros before your arrival.
